Back in the early 80s a wire wiggle test was one of the first things Cadillac recommended for their junk wiring harnesses

I still laugh to myself when writing service report "wiggle test failure" Did you replace harness at that time or was repair ok? John Deere now recomends crimp but connector instead of solder i heard.
@inmate666

@@nathankisner8332 when it failed the " wiggle test " the next step was to supply all the who , what, when and where to a GM rep and he would tell you what repairs they would authorize and I've seen many times what they would authorize would no way in hell fix the problem then it would be up to our service adviser weather to fix it properly or follow GM's recommendation and have to deal with the " come backs " . Just like sex " in out " repeat if necessary.

The mounding created by ground squirrels also known as "squeaks, or whistle pigs" is the worst. Badgers make bigger mounds, but not nearly as many of them. One ranch near your shop in McDoel let hunters attempt to thin the squirrel populations, but you could never get all of them. Then they tried poison, but after a while the squirrels learned to leave it alone. Any poison has to limit it's effects to the target species, so birds of prey are not affected.

I don't know why they made that Draw-Beam arched. It would have been better if it was a straight beam. Maybe a piece of 4x4 section tube could act as a brace. Even a length of chain would help pull the rake forwards. ( Edit...Maybe the arch was for transport position..)
