Are you kidding me, was this show for real? ROY and WELDON the same night! As for the jam, WELDON shows that's he's one of the true architect of Jazz/Funk grooves, he was one of the the few who got it all together!

doesn't look like Bryd to me and Byrd would have had his own billing at that point. Looks like Charles Sullivan to me. Sullivan was regularly playing with Sonny Fortune at the time too
