SUV RVing I am not a huge fan of winter camping but I have done it a few times. you definitely need to be prepared. I’m so desperate to get out there now I’m thinking about doing it again in a couple of weeks. The temperatures have been in the single digits here in Michigan the last few weeks that’s just a little too cold for me though. Lol i’m still laughing at the first minute of your video. My FJ loves the snow! Looks like your RAV4 did pretty well. I’m really hoping you get that 4runner.

Ugh, I see snow too often in Utah! I'm not a fan of the stuff. But this winter has actually been remarkably mild. It's only snowed a handful of times, and it's been unusually warm. The low amount of snow in the mountains will mess with our water supply come summer, but it's great now! Thanks Kat.

Looks like you forgot the sunscreen LoL. I understand the reluctance to put sunscreen on sometimes because of that yucky feeling it leaves on skin when no showers available - and most sunscreens are do darned waterproof you need to practically sandblast it off. The snow was fun but a respectful reminder for me of getting stuck in snow in remote part of Oregon last spring. That part of UT is amazing. Thanks for sharing.

Hi thanks for replying to me. I am going to be traveling with a dog and I understand many of the national parks really limit your ability to do things with your dog at them. Therefore I'm interested in any areas outside of the national parks with dispersed camping that maybe you have been to? Also what do you use for your GPS coordinates is that an app for your phone? I believe all of the Utah state parks are dog friendly. In the Moab area, that would be Dead Horse Point State Park and Goosenecks State Park. The Valley of the Gods is awesome and worth visiting. If you're in more central Utah, check out Little Grand Canyon. And get a good state atlas. All BLM and national forest lands are dog friendly, and a good state atlas has those lands marked. As for GPS, I use an app called Gaia GPS. It's $10 or $20, but it's amazing and far easier to use than a standalone GPS device. Thanks for watching and commenting, James.
