I really miss an essential element of the game and that's Luka's defense efforts towards the end. His defence is often flawed, but here Luka shows that he can do anything in the court if needed. If his team can produce the same amount of energy in defending, Dallas can be one of the best teams in the league. Luka shouldn't be the one to save his team all over the court, he needs help and showed his mates during the final minutes how that's done. And Lively: man, only a couple of matches into the season I really love this guy and he may be the magic ingredient that Dallas needed and hasn't received yet from other new players.

Excellent breakdown (had to sub). With the stupidly high IQ of opposition players these days, Wembys mamba like mentality, his existing fundamentals plus coach Pop and Brown thrown into the mix......this kid is going to evolve very quickly. Luka is THE authority that grades Phd applications in offensive manipulation, just quietly - the man is so far ahead of the floor that it borders on precognition.

6:40 mark is a perfect example of Luka getting help from the refs. Johnson was called multiple times for trash BS calls on Luka. But right here at 6:40 play he continuesly uses his HAND not forarm but HAND to push Johnson into the screen. Thats a offense foul. The defenser cant even put his palm on your body w out being called. But because its Luka he gets away w it making it easy for him.

@zanbratusa2788
11 ай бұрын
@Indigo3.7 It's not that Luka gets away with it, it's that the rules are fundamentally different for defenders, because the league, as in the NBA and Adam Silver, wants more high-scoring games. High numbers on the scoreboard look impressive and seeing players score on a difficult shot gets the audience more excited than a normal defensive stop. It's not Luka, he's just taking advantage of the rules, as are all the star players in the league (LeBron, Jokić, Lillard, and maybe the best example, Harden).

Spurs got their goat like the Lakers got their Kobe. I expect Spurs fans to be lit every home game.
