I’m from Somaliland, the first time I went to Nairobi, I was shocked to find out shops closed @5:00. The is norm for Muslim country for shops stay open late. In Eastleigh the shops close late nowadays. But double check

I don't think it's about Muslim or Buddhist. Don't be so simplistic. There's no need to inject religion into everything. Addis Ababa is also the same by the way. Markets and shops close pretty early and I was so surprised.

no they dont control mostly but they are one of those communities who have their shares in the business sectors

I hope the djibouti people and its leaders keep a wise head upon their shoulders and do not allow this to happen. The situation with all the different foreign military bases in the country is already very alarming to say the least.
