You are too hard on yourself!! haha. For a first video (or for some of us, our 20th, LOL) this was great! You should be proud!! You should also be proud of how far you've come. The difference between then and now is incredible! Your vision and storytelling ability are first class.

Dude I’ve been enjoying the heck out of your color grading course. Probably will end up redoing it once I’m done. And showing all the grades in FCP and CFP2 is amazing. Also throwing in lil overviews on other pluggins was a nice touch. Looking forward to other classes. You should do filming with S-log3 tutorials, or behind the scenes of filming. Id pay to see that lol.

Thanks so much for letting me know that, brotha! I greatly appreciate it 🙏🏼 I actually have some BTS of filming one of the video portraits on my channel membership but I don't go in depth on my settings or how I film in S-Log. It's mainly just BTS of the shoot.

😂 well thanks, brother! I had made videos with my GoPro on vacations before this but this was my first attempt at a 'cultural travel film' and with a 'legit' camera haha. Thanks for watching 👊🏼

@@AmericanAdventuresInJapan Haha! How am I supposed to follow that 😂 I've never really done my own "cultural" type travel film. Mine were always vlog style of my vacations or trips. But maybe a reaction video like this is not a bad idea 😅

Could you please do another episode on this one on how you would've edited this one now? That'd be awesome. Although I don't think it was that bad.

I should've explained a bit more how I'd go about making it better, but I thought I added some insight in a few areas in the video. Unfortunately, the video performed the worst out of the majority of my recent videos so I likely won't continue with it 😕 I appreciate the suggestion though!

I’m pretty sure you’re the only person who’s ever made a crappy video their first try. Haha dude actually I’d be so proud if this was my first attempt at a travel film 😂 but it is insane how much you’ve grown in your abilities. Absolutely loved watching this.

That is not bad at all. If my skills would have been that level in my first video I would be so happy. I’m not there even yet. Of course your skills have grown and thanks for sharing all your great tips with video editing. Have really learned a lot from you.

I think so too. Because of Dylan (and of course the other Dylan) many, many of us have upped our game because you guys gave us the knowledge to do it! I loved how you gave some insights on how you would have done it again. Trust me, I got my notepad out! I’d love to even see you take 2 or 3 scenes and do a video showing how you would do it now!!!! So many people would love it! Anyways, thanks for the great work! Always excited to see you post something!

Fun to see how you have evolved and how awesome your new stuff is! The old stuff is not as bad as you made it out to be, a lot of good shots in there, but as you are critiquing them, it shows how much better you have become, Dylan. Keep it up :-)
