@@ruffadamsthegreat.2662 First, to say you hate something and then literally listen to THIRTEEN god damn parts of it makes you sound like you're either mentally ill or a liar. Second, if you'd taken 2 minutes to actually listen to and absorb the message Skott put in at the end, you'd ALREADY KNOW that that STORY doesn't end here, just the dedicated Werewolves are Assholes part. There's still several other different storylines that have to play out and converge, as has been set up since part god damn 2 of Worst Hotel when the Ashe says "My BROTHER just set sail for the states", and then again when the WAA gang meets him outside his house on his way to the U-Haul, then again in the first season of I Ride for Cerber when Hook gives Jose the knife with Ashe Cravenock on it, the same last name as Hook, then AGAIN in season 1 of Dirty Work Inc. when they meet a shady, ridiculously strong man with a knife that can hurt Abigail who is a vampire, THEN AGAIN in Jose Rides Again when Jose meets him on the bench under the street lamp. So it's almost like this has been built up for LITERALLY FOUR FUCKING YEARS to have several different storylines revolve around this one particular antagonist and then all come together at the end into one singular story. ALMOST. So if you don't like that or can't get your head around it, feel free to get all the way lost.

That being said, there's so many characters, each with their own story it almost feels like we're starting a new book without finishing the old one first. It's like it's too good for the style it's being written in. I hope we can keep adding on to the worstverse and that I never fully catch up so I'll always have a good story to listen to. 2 жыл бұрын
@@CryptidsRoost I appreciate it. And that's what I mean. It doesn't happen in any of the other storylines. They all end at this point when those individual storylines get to this part. Worst Hotel's last part will end here and I Ride for Cerber's last part will end here too. And then the final storyline is all of them together as one story involving the events this part sets up. Like I told someone else, every one of the storylines has always been leading up to this part and the following events. When the WAA gang meets Ashe outside his home on the way to the U-Haul. Then again when Ashe mentioned to Travis in part 2 of Worst Hotel that his brother had just set sail for the states. Then again when Hook gives Jose the knife that belonged to someone with the same last name as him. Then again when the Dirty Work Inc. gang meets a scary old man who has a knife that can hurt Abigail, who's a vampire. Then again when Jose meets him under the street lamp on the bench. He's been the main antagonist of the story from the beginning. So it wouldn't make sense to stop now. But there's still more setup to do. There's still the final season of I Ride for Cerber, "End of the Road", then there's the last part of Worst Hotel, and then Amanda's Library story that takes place after the individual storylines all end and before the final arc starts. And that starts to actually give you some of the first true background on Ashe and why he's doing what he's doing. Not just what he's said to other people when asked or said in his own writings to the public. Then after that the final arc starts and the story it told intermittently by each of the main characters from the individual storylines from their own perspectives. So you also get to see the difference in how they actually are vs how they describe themselves as they tell their own stories. Habits they have that they don't mention, embarrassing things they say or do that they might intentionally omitt, character flaws they leave out all together. Things like that which you wouldn't get from their own biased descriptions of themselves. So there's a reason for everything being done a certain way.

Hearing one of them mention Dracula dead and Loving It and then bring up mr. Nielsen. When your Canadian that's right up there with somebody dropping Ryan Reynolds into the conversation. I don't know how many actors that could carry the particular type of acting weight that Nielsen was able to wield. Ironically he started out doing cheesy westerns and a few sci-fi flicks and somehow got lucky enough to sidestep his way into comedy and to say it fit like a glove is putting it lightly. I wish we could have known what he would have been like if he gotten into comedy much earlier in his career I think we could have had some really beautiful golden age films I mean don't get me wrong Forbidden Planet is not that bad in the grand scheme of things but you're going to have a pretty hard job getting me to watch a western with Leslie Nielsen in it I'm not sure of him doing anything comedic Lee before airplane, don't call me Shirley;). The man just somehow was always able to pull off what they call the straight man. Had a different meaning back then then what the younger people are familiar with. It's a term for the type of Comedy he was able to do and there aren't many actors from his day that were doing it and I don't think there's anybody left other than Ryan rentals. Admittedly yes Ryan cranks it up to 11 but Hemet and Leslie are obviously different sides of the fence where Ryan likes things on the blue side and Leslie was generally more family-friendly when it came to the language don't get me wrong he had a dirty sense of humour watch police squad and the Naked Gun movies if you're not familiar with what I'm talking about LOL. Or spy heard;). So many dick jokes LOL. Even his last work zero man was so full of tongue and cheek innuendo and dirty puns and it was a kids cartoon. I don't know if I'll see another actor in my lifetime who could carry the kind of roles that Leslie did. Yeah he did movies like mr. Magoo which were kind of Wabi Wabi and he played a mountie and a television series and I think in a movie which were meant to be kind of sorta kinda not quite comedic they were kind of right on the border where you weren't sure if it was supposed to be funny or serious. The man even pulled off doing a spoof of Forbidden Planet back in the 80s I think it was called return to the Forbidden Planet LOL. One of the things on the old bucket list is to break down and make sure I've watched everything with him in it other than those westerns I'm really not a western fan you can blame my grandfather for that very few western style watch unless they've got say Clint Eastwood. You break out a John Wayne movie and either I'm running for the corn fields or somebody's going to be hurt! Too many John Wayne movies in my childhood thank you very much. Frankly that should be considered child abuse in an oven self.Love that image of Dracula sitting down with somebody half my age and watching dead and Loving It. There are so few people in their 20s who really recognize anything made before about 2005 or 2000. There is so much great Cinema out there that where they act like anything's 20 years or older is a black-and-white soundless movie. And yes there are plenty of good silent films out there I'll have you know. Charlie Chaplin is another example of a early straight man style comedy. Far as I know Leslie got some of his inspiration from Chaplin. The ability to be totally oblivious to the world falling down around you I think is one of the quotes used for their style of Comedy. Holding a straight face no matter what's going on as if it's all perfectly normal nothing to see here folks everybody go home as the fireworks Factory burns down ;). Nielsen's one of the reasons I still wish I could have gotten into acting but I'm 44 so at this point it's not looking good LOL. Even being a bad actor still means you had a shot and had some fun doing it;0) but being a great actor means you brightened more than a few people day.

Foster Brooks became an overnight success at 59. So it's rarely too late. I met the president of Universal Studios one time when they were shooting an in company promotion for Cowboys and Aliens at A Cowboy Town in White's Creek, TN, and to quote him at the viewing of the film, us both surrounded, inexplicably, by storm troopers with Larry the Cable Guy doing standup on stage in the background, "If you want to make it in acting it all comes down to two things. Who you know, who you know, and who you know." He was heavily intoxicated at the time.

@@joshwaggoner1301 The man's not wrong. His statement literally reminded me of something. When I was in high school I was one of the students who took the last drama class I wish I had taken it sooner I never thought much of the drama class but my last year of high school I took it to kill time. Only I think three other guys in the class and everybody else was female. Almost nobody took the class anyways seriously ironically. Teacher repeatedly took me aside and badgered me a boat taking this class at the local College in Halifax I kind of shrugged it off he must have asked me like four times about taking the acting class in Halifax. I didn't want to spend $150 because at the time there was no work for actors at all in Halifax Halifax was basically a smoldering crater. You want to know how big that decision bit me in the ass for not taking that class? It was around that time Sulphur street films went into business in Halifax! You want to know what's even better by not taking that class I missed the career opportunity of a lifetime. Nearly everybody that year that took that class ended up getting work;). From what I understand most of them ended up being involved and a little project called Trailer Park Boys.a black and white proof of concept film/pilot school project kind of thing most of the students from that class ended up being involved in it in some capacity. That piece of black and white nugget ended up at a film festival and it was then picked up by the A&E Network in Canada and turned into a television series the television series at this point has had four or five movies I think 12 seasons 2 animated seasons 10 special episode kind of things and a couple of Comedy tours it then went on to have several series on its own internet content Network called swearnet;). I think they worked their way up to 16 or 18 seasons last I heard they were doing a series called Trailer Park Boys behind bars or something like that. It's not getting rich or famous but it's the fact that most people that got in on the ground floor have had work in the industry since around 98 or 99 onwards lol. Another little slap in the face is I'm technically I think in a few episodes lol. I found out about the show when I was driving through the city and quite likely I'm in the background of several shots of a few episodes. I think I went to school with least one of the writers because there's so many things in the show that are eerily similar to stuff I grew up around. To the point where I became aware of the episodes being filmed when I found myself sitting across from a car that looked like the same car I was driving;) except for the fact the car I was looking at was missing a door and way more wrecked and they had a bunch of barbecues bungee cord to the roof and hanging out of the trunk and at the time I had about 10 BBQs load it up in the trunk of my car taking them in for scrap lol. How's that for bizarre irony? One of the trailer parks they used to film at was right down the street from my old house and one of the movies ended up being filmed about 30 mi from where I presently live didn't even know about the movie being filmed till I was in the area so once again quite likely there's footage of me driving through the background so I'm wears lol. Trailer Park Boys is one of those properties where you don't really have to be an actor just a matter of handling the script ol and I think literally some of the cast members Gest make 90% of it up as they go as long as it fits within the criteria of the episode they're filming LOL. I wish I had of taking that acting class back then $150 was a lot of money.

@@joshwaggoner1301 I did and I'm caught up on all the other parts of the universe its just a lil anticlimactic how this part of story ends. Don't get me wrong I love the direction its going, it just felt like a whole different story instead an ending to 1that was the start of all of this, if that makes any sense.

I'll still fight every monster and human that'll get in my way I don't care if it's those hotel guys, that group from the werewolves are assholes series and most definitely burn Dracula's castle to the ground along with his friends. if I had The Mark of Cain and some orichalcum or if I can be a nephilim I can beat everyone that universe

@@Mrbuffman Yeah and if ifs and buts were candy and nuts we'd all be having a swell time. But the Worstverse isn't the Supernatural universe and things don't work the same way. In the event you were in the Worstverse you'd be as you are now, and if you tried that wannabe hunter crap you'd almost definitely find yourself strapped to a chair having your teeth drilled out in the Dirty Work Inc. building or vampire food or a body in an alley somewhere. That's the whole point of that scene in Dirty Work Inc. Is to dispell that exact fantasy. The average person thinking they can just hunt paranormal creatures for fun get humbled in a very bad way. Take it from the guy who knows more about the world these stories take place in than anyone else, and who has almost a solid 30 years worth of training, if I were suddenly dropped into that world with all the knowledge and training I have now, I'd mind my own damn business and leave them be at every possible opportunity.
