When Wesley wins against many super GMs, it's a shellacking. Magnus, Kasparov, Duda, and now Firousja, are good examples. I'm not a chess expert but his endgame technique seems Capablanca-like.

Another Wesley So unparalleled masterpiece! The Fischer Random champion shows why he's the best. Soon to be America's next world champion. It is only a matter of time. GM So will soon be unstoppable...don't bet against it! Bravo Wes! A grand post ~

The fact that white could patiently deflect the rook so as to find a winning combination is incredible. Thanks for another outstanding commentary and exciting game.

It would be great if you add at least one line which leads to the checkmate. Great game. Wesley So would be at least a once World Champion if he not lived during a Magnus Era.

In this game there was no forced checkmate. Black resigned because of white's decisive material advantage.

You all pronouncing his name incorrectly. ITS firouzia . Spell the j as y or I .
