A great show! Beautiful layouts, and the water scene @34.00 was one of the best I have seen. Well done to them. Nice selection of stock on the tables, as well!

Another excellent video, you know exactly which layout I liked, the weathered Diesels. Superb very authentic, also the layout with the snow landscape.

Hi Bobby and humans!, many thanks for starting with an Austrian layout, we don’t see that many in the uk! On the second layout the largely white train was a ICE, intercity express, used in Austria, Holland and Germany plus other countries. Some great traders and price, Ray Heard goes to most shows in the south and usually has good price and models. I am glad Pauline avoided to blue coaches, wagons and locos! Regards harry

What better place to buy souvenirs while you're on holiday, than a local train show of corse🤣 Quite some goodies for sale, never been to Davon or Cornwall, one of the few places in the UK that still sits on the want to visit list, and it all sits in my favorite GWR country. Taking the GWR night train from London Paddington to the Cornish Rivera, still very high on the list, specially since I pulled a few of those specific GWR class 802/1's, when the where brand new, from Germany to Belgium on there way to the UK. Normally buying modern stuff is not my thing of interest, but a GWR class 802/1 set is, hope to one day combine it with my Belgian TRAXX loco to mimic the train that I pulled at the end of my career, sweet memories… Anyway, thanks to Pauline for finding a top holiday activity, we do have a nice video again. @ Pauline: you should talk more to my wife Myriam, she always comes up with spa's , never train shows while we are on holiday😮💨 Cheers, Danny

That first shop had some cracking prices, I might have filled my boots with Mainline wagons at that price. The other shops were keenly priced too, surprising when 'down south'. The snowy layout is one I have seen before, extremely good, but not managed to see it in person as yet.

Excellent Video again .Rick- Funny you should mention the German Centre cab being similar in looks to the class 17 Clayton. Wrenn/Lima passed one of those off in BR Green for N Gauge in the early 80s. Not great weather down south , I have a friend in Bournemouth who says the weather hasnt been great . Slightly better up north .

The two vehicles Pauline queried on the "Fairford Layout" is called a "Windhoff", this time of year is referred to as "leaf fall season", that train is run daily or as required over the tracks and is referred to as the RHTT - Rail Head Treatment Train. It sprays high pressure water jets onto the Railhead to blast off leaf residue, which causes train wheels to slide on the rail when the driver applies the brakes, this mulch which occurs when train wheels crush fallen leaves, acts like "teflon" as on pans in yiur kitchen, low friction and non stick, the train wheel treads pick this up and it builds up a film, trains with disc brakes just lock up and the wheel slides, causing thousands of pounds worth of damage to the tyre and in serious cases causing a flat edge on the tyre, and you get the mouse of "bang-bang-bang as the wheel rotates, so a trip to the wheel lathe is required or in more serious cases a whole new wheels etc costing tens of thousands of pounds. We also have loco hauled RHTT traunscall over rhe country, loco hauled, an engine at either end of 4 wagons, spraying the rail head with high pressure water jets. The "Floydd" Black class 56 was a model of a class 56, obviously, which was exported abroad to Europe, not the brightest idea of Hormbys, as its a specialist market and there's lots at Hornby shop here in Margate they can't sell coz no one wants them. The Pullman Observation car is popular but prices range dlsecond hand, from £80 - £140 depending what part of the country you're in. That was some drive from Devon to Dorset, Wimborne, at least a 2 and a half hour drive, brings back memories of when I lived in Devon. Great video once again

@@johnhorton5364 I know!! I haven’t seen it live yet, but that’s a treat to come for me. I personally attend three model railway exhibitions, the London Festival of Railway Modelling, Model Railway Saturday at the Whitewebbs Museum of Transport and the Hoddesdon Model and Railway Club’s August Extravaganza.

Re the N gauge layout and you said "Somerset and Dorset Green livery" to my.knowledge, the SDJR didnt have locos in green, their livery was blue. The loco you referrd to running looked more like a South Eastern And Chatham Railway (SECR) C class loco in SECR green livety, lined in red.

Indeed you are correct John, I should know better as in our recent Buffers Model Shop video I was saying how much I love their blue livery. I make quite a few basic errors in our videos as they are basically live with no retakes. Such is the joy of KZitem there are always helpful souls who can help me out in the comments. Thanks for watching and all the best Rick
