Making it up past my neck of the woods. Cool tour Lindsey, nice little patio to chill and have a cold tropical drink. Happy 4th!

What a coincidence! We just booked two nights in Madrid for next week. We actually tried booking a hotel room, but couldn't find one open due to covid. It ended up costing 130 total, including all fees, for two adults and a baby. They're even setting up a crib for us!

Nice! Yes, they still have reasonable rates abroad. What are you going to Madrid for??

Loved the video, Lindsey. Really makes me want to visit Florida. What is an area of Florida that you haven't visited that you would like to visit?

Hmm good question probably Sarasota, St. Petersburg, Jacksonville. I grew up going to north panhandle area of Florida every summer and it’s one of my fave areas. Thanks for watching!

I'm not an airbnb user/host but I look at it more as temp living not vacation. Like a place where you can cook your own meals etc not a place just for sleeping. Hotels seems to be more affordable for regular vacation. Unless there is a big event and most hotels are booked

Yes, when I made this video it was right after lockdown and I was hesitant to go to a hotel. But when Airbnb started, it was much cheaper, but these days it’s more luxury than budget. I haven’t used Airbnb since making this video, but I’m sure one day I’ll be using it again, probably with friends or family. Thanks for watching!

I love West Palm Beach, I have family there. Coming back to Florida in 2022 from London, gonna Airbnb while I'm there. What areas would you recommend? Also, what's the name of the song you use in the video?

Cool! I'm not super familiar with all the neighborhoods in West palm bc I lived in Fort Lauderdale area. But The area I stayed in is called "El Cid" and has street names based on Spanish cities. It is about 2 minutes from downtown. Anywhere around downtown is good/Rosemary Square. My friend lives in Flamingo Park area. But if you look at a map. Anywhere from west palm down to Lake Worth is nice. Actually most places right along the coast are nice /along US 1 road. I avoid staying west of Interstate 95 because it is further from the beach and more suburban and residential. Palm Beach is the most expensive and ritzy area. But it is cool because it is right on the beach. Also, the name of the song was "Sunny Over The Horizon by RAGE" it is a free song from the youtube audio library. Alright, thanks for watching! :)

(i thought the mic was a doggie or kitty) I admire you for traveling alone. I should do that. I'm in Miami, FL and stays here are expensive. Yes those fees can get you. Not fair if you ask me. Have you traveled on the trains? I love using the trains....Amtrak, Virgen, and the other one, forgot the name. lol In Miami if you have an airbnb you will lose your homestead exemption. So unfair. I use a hotel app that gives me real good prices. Plus hotels give you free coffee and sometimes breakfast. xoxoxoxoxo thank you so much!!! after the pandemic we should meet!!!

I haven't been on the trains in miami yet! I had always wanted to try the Virgin Brightline but never got around to it yet. Yes, hotels do have more benefits. Istayed in this airbnb because my friend lived in this neighborhood and I had planned to see her. I had thought about a hotel, but I was a little nervous being around alot of people there. But probably if I travel more alone in the future, it would make more sense to stay in a hotel! But also I was able to at least make this stay into a airbnb review. I hope we can meet too! I am up in TN now and I will probably stay here through the end of the year. Hope to be back in January!
