It took me a year to realize this - but this is the Dyer turn, not the Fulton turn. Forgive any errors in narration!

Do you know what time this turn goes on duty by chance?

Never heard of or seen a train with West Tennessee railroad before. I lived in Milan as a kid. CSX, ICG and Norfolk southern but that's a new one for me.

Norfolk Southern still owns the line between Fulton, KY and Corinth, MS. They’ve been leasing that line to West Tennessee since about 2001. My uncle started out working in Jackson with the GM&O in the early 70s. He had to go to work in Memphis after they sold it to NS.

@@bluegrassman3040The GM&O was a great RR, that was lucky to have excellent people who worked for it!!

You are correct about this being the Dyer turn. Actually this line runs several miles past Dyer and ends at Kenton, TN. 99% of this line is service to 3 Tyson grain elevators. I work at the one you filmed cutting empties into our yard.

That was a good horn back in the 70s and 80s. But compared to the horns they make now it does sound cheesy.
