I love Canada, it's so big though it makes it awfully difficult for regular folks to see all of it. Thanks to Air Canada and Newfoundland And Labrador Tourism for making this possible for some of us who would otherwise likely not be able to afford such an incredible opportunity! Looks beautiful.

Newfoundland is my home from home, Originally from Scotland but this place is the closest I have ever felt to being home, I have been in Canada for about 20 years but Newfoundland is my most favorite place of all, I have just booked the hike and I am so excited, of course I will share it with the world on my channel.

Last October was my first trip to Newfoundland. I went to Carmen Ville to visit my best friend and then she took me to Northern Arm to visit where my dad had been born and raised. I totally fell in love with Newfoundland and would love to bring my husband back to see Cornerbrook and Gross Moran to see how beautiful Newfoundland really is.

I did this hike in 1999 with my best friend. My parents took me on a family vacation years before that and I decided then that I had to do it. It was simply amazing but you have to be in shape and very determined because nothing up there is easy. The scenery and wildlife is incredible to the point where it is indescribable. If you're ready and determined then go for it but remember there are no easy rescues up there.

NL Tourism makes it seem as though anyone who goes to the GM park will get to see the view from the top of the fiord.....nope. That requires a guided hike, costing $575 (incl. tax) for 2 people. It is an egregious thing to do to people....to mesmerize them with incredible TV ads, and then let them figure out such a basic deceit after they arrive.
@Aubatron

Not true. There is a parks Canada parking lot that costs $20 for 24 hrs to park at. You can hike in and climb Gros Morne mountain, and loop around and come down the other side. Takes around 8 hours. I warn you though, the climb up Gros Morne takes a bit of fitness. Make sure you bring lots of food and water and a wind breaking jacket for the top of Gros Morne. 2 days after doing the hike and my calves still hurt lol.
