Wow, thank you. You have made my day! Sorry it took me so long to see your comment. I loved Thumbelina too. I used to sit and stare into flowers and imagine a whole other world in there. I had forgotten that. thank you for the reminder.

I have created stems for the roses by using 18 gauge florist wire, spinning it from top to bottom with some light wool roving to coat the wire. Then take more roving and wrap top to make a ball that I then needle felt to the underside of the rose. Love these roses!!
