One of my favorite lines: "And you're wonderin' who the hell you're are". " Are you a farmer ? Are you a star ?"

This was actually the first time I've heard this one. I love it. This pretty much sums up my philosophy on life. Life is full of curveballs, but no matter what, if you never give up hope. You will be able to Keep on Smiling. Btw perfect timing on this as well for this introduction for me. Thanks for helping me continue to look the devil in the eye and smile, telling him "you lose again!" 😉👍

Love that laid back summer of 1974 vibe this song exudes. Great choice!

Always liked this song. Jimmy's voice reminds me a lot of Van Morrison and Into the Mystic. And MRM, funny that you mentioned Amazing Grace...🤭😋

My neighbor he could sing this and drum this identical to this. I'll alway smile when i hear this now. Alot of the songs i send you from the 70s are my happy songs. Cause that was a time in my life i felt safest and maybe happiest cause i was so young, i knew nothing bad

That was another good one, that song is a classic from the early 70's, and it is unique because of how they did it with the big changeup in the middle and making it a little longer than average.

One of the greatest southern influenceal rock bands of all time but yet unheard of outside of the south. They did get a mention in Charlie Daniel's song, "The South's gonna do it again" when he said o'l brother Willie is getting soke n wet.

Reminds me of my family and friends at the lake. Also reminds me of walking around town after school to go shopping with my friends, and going to the drugstore soda shop to have fries and a coke. The good times gone by.

I don't remember where I was when I first heard this but I'm sure I was a teenager. This is a song that I don't listen to often but when I hear it it brings a smile to my face. The message in this song is one I try to impart to people I know that are going through troubled times. Think positive, move forward, things will get better, figure out how to make that happen. It may take a long time, believe me I know. "Life's a journey, not a destination" I don't know if Steven Tyler originated that saying but it's from the song Amazing.

Before my late husband died from MS, he spent the last few years in a medical facility and I would call him when I got up, put my phone on speaker and play this song for him. I was already crying before you brought up about loved ones passing but that's okay, I was smiling, too.
