I personally really like the millennium package in the deck. Gives lots of discard fodder to get the white woods cards out, if you have a bad hand, millennium shield plus veiler gets you into your synchro 6. Also puzzlemino is an option that you can level modulate to get access to different synchros
@BimYGO

the millennium cards are definitely good. shield specifically is the worst of them by far since there is no plus, and i would never play it for a normal summon veiler scenario. the main problem is space, as you will have to compromise on other engine spots or play breakers, in which case you will lose to ftk decks. that said, the engine itself is very good and works well with wf - im just not playing it for these replays

Good to remember calling Bident with Black Goat. However it's very bad in BP because Chundra would summon Fadra during Damage Step and have 2 "quick synchro" effects to play around it. Meanwhile Black Goat will not prevent Bident from being revived using its own effect from the GY. I'm referring to 26:00. Personally I would have used it in MP because Bident represents 3 bodies. Their misplay is that not only they didn't read Toy Box, Chundra actually triggers on any monster battling, so they could have sent in Bident to bait you into using your Toy Box, then if you didn't they would get Fadra and you would be OTKed. If you did, now the other set must deal with Chundra so they get a 2nd chance at Fadra. Chundra + Fadra are 2 attacks, the revive of Fadra (Paidra) is the 3rd attack, now Bident can revive itself and pop your Box to deny your followup (or your set), then Chundra + Fadra to make Moonlit or the the other 7 to remove the illusion trap monster and with the board clear they can commit to Trident using Bident and Paidra (popping field + one lvl7 synchro) and safely OTK

Despite being "unga bunga" Tenpai in good hands is actually an amazing technical deck, almost always having a proper line to make the OTK. I would heavily suggest you play Tenpai yourself because that's the best possible experience of learning how to beat it. Especially against an opponent's White Forest with similar build to yours. That way you will test both deck at the same time, also when using a different strategy to watch your own deck perform you might see something new to incorporate to your regular deck. My hot take was Fiendsmith Tenpai since the Fiendsmith engine is so compact, catching off guard people not only by going first but also by baiting everything I can with Fiendsmith then either pushing with Tenpai or going for Beatrice into Promethean for the full Tenpai combo. (I heavily tested Fiendsmith due to Yubel which is my main deck, then Snakes, then Tenpai, and for the last 2 weeks I experiment with White Forest)

Hey with the having to specifically send spells and traps as cost. There's a very small toy vendor engine with the continuous spell and fluffal bear we could run that can help us always have the resources for cost and vendor in graves searches the fluffal bear which sets vendor directly from deck avoiding ash and droll. Also vendor is a soft once per turn so we can easily loop itself to search again
@BimYGO

i think that engine is strictly worse in every single way compared to both the toy box package and the millennium package, so i would not play it

When he summoned Ty-phon and activated the effect in G2 at 15:37 you could have chained Rucia in GY he would have been forced to bounce that back and then elzette would trigger in a new chain to add back to hand. Then on your turn you could have made a chaos angel or something. Or full combo if you drew a s/t, which you did.
@BimYGO
Ай бұрын
i think the elzette would miss the activation window in that scenario because the rucia would be returned to the hand in the same chain that it arrived onto the field
@isaacsamuel6035
Ай бұрын
@@BimYGO I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t miss timing because it was still summoned. The return to hand and summon happen at the same time and elzette would trigger in a new chain. That’s why you can go woes c1, Rucia c2 and when you summon Silvera you can use elzette as cl2.
@BimYGO
Ай бұрын
@@isaacsamuel6035 im not referring to missing timing - that is another mechanic which applies to when effects, since they have a timing. elzette is a trigger effect, which cannot miss timing. what im referring to is the activation window for the trigger effect. for example, if you summon a fenrir during the same chain that your opponent uses a monster effect, at resolution you cannot use fenrir since he was not present to check for his trigger conditions ill double check how this works and get back to you
@BimYGO
Ай бұрын
@@isaacsamuel6035 i have just double checked - you are right - the card that triggers (elzette) just needs to be present before/while/after the trigger condition is met - but the event that triggers it can occur for any moment of time, no matter how briefly. fyi though this has nothing to do with missing timing, as that is a separate mechanic as i mentioned
@isaacsamuel6035

@@BimYGO yea that’s what I meant. I know what miss timing means. But yea elzette would trigger because it’s in the GY the entire time.

Just out of curiosity, when the dark hole is it not worth summing Rciela? You get the search and protect Diabell? You get to search Veiler and keep Diabell and can still bounce either into a LV4 and Woe into Silvera. Would love insight on this as I am always looking for the best technical play
@BimYGO
Ай бұрын
let me know the timestamp if im misunderstanding. if you are talking about a scenario where he activates dark hole and i can summon rciela; rciela will not be able to trigger to summon veiler because the activation window for the trigger will never arrive - rciela would be summoned and destroyed within the same chain, so it wouldnt search if youre talking about a different scenario lmk the timestamp and ill check

@@BimYGO doesn’t Rciela protect itself? Maybe I’m confusing it with another synchro

@babrad Rciela only protects illusion and spellcaster synchros, it won't protect the rabbit. But protecting the Rciela isn't bad, especially if you have woes set, you can bring back Silvy or Rucia and then woes into Silvera, assuming you don't send the woes for Rciela to search a Veiler or Iris. That's pretty solid honestly

for a more "budget" version don't you think a small bystial engine of 5-6 cards would help in the deck? having lubelion with branded regained for example since if your cards get banished you don't have any way to get them back otherwise. regained could give that much needed return with the plus draw. given how everyone is seemingly on fiendsmith i'd assume the bystials will see much play and they kinda hurt a lot against us as well
@BimYGO
Ай бұрын
i think on a pure version you play multiple copies of all cards, so losing one or two cards to banishment does not cut off your resource cycle. 6 cards is an extremely large bystial engine and will likely hurt with your non engine ratios. but if you do want to main lubellions and regained, youd be doing that in place of , for example, the centurion package. or in my specific build here, maybe youd have to take out the black goat for the lubellions.
@CrisRullz

@@BimYGO mainly if your synchros get banished was my thinking. 2 lub, regained, 1 magna, 1 druis pretty much the engine i was thinking about. The 2 bystials also being kinda like handtraps if everyone is on fiendsmith. Definitely instead of centurion package is what I'm thinking since that doesn't seem to be going down in prices

@@TheMatt_SD yea i think youre right - initially i held it because i forgot that my ash was banished off called by. so, thinking that i had an ash in grave, if i called chundra with goat, he would change the genroku target to fadra, fadra rez genroku, then have 3 bodies for a hiita/link climb play. as long as he didnt have a way to pop box, the chundra itself never threatened anything because box would always destroy chundra prior to its dmg step trigger. if he used paidra and genroku as a tuner to sync i could goat call the bident target, so there wasnt a scenario where he could play around my cards with paidra negated

do you not like the immortal dragon + Arms of Genex Return Zero to stop nib? Or do you just prefer apo?

Those are decent cards but it really sucks when you’re banishing your engine just to negate stuff. You could argue that making diabolantis sending a light monster for the negate is better. But either case there are downsides for sure.

apo is just strictly a superior card and the resources required to make those two cards arent far off, so i dont see much reason to make a worse version of apo tbh. but also im not super worried about playing around nib since the deck has many routes around it. i dont think genex is needed
