the 2050$ is misleading. It is around 2600$ now for 1 bedroom in the same building. Yeah, he probably still pays 2050$ due to he rent at the lowest price during Covid and BC's renting increasing policy(no more than 2% increasing year to year). Vancouver is expensive and the lowest afforddable city in north america.

Awesome video! Love this apartment tours in Vancouver types of video. The apartment is really nice, especially for downtown. In the middle of the video I realized I already watched this apartment tour on Stephen's channel about 6 months ago haha. But it was still a really great watch!

It’s amazing how much places change between the 1500 range and 2000 range! Unfortunately 1500 was my upper limit (ended up going to 1550) He’s done well!

hey Adam, great video!!! Question: when the CRA says there's an allowance of 1 overlapping year for primary residence exemption in Canada, do they mean from the date the overlap plus 365 days? I'm curious to know if I were to close on a new property in say April 1st 2022, when will be the last day I should sell the existing primary residence in order to avoid capital gains taxes on the sale?
