Remember to wash your hands after handling eggs from Europe when you are used to american. In America the eggs are washed to prevent salmonella, but this means that the eggs are not longer shelf stable, so they need to be refrigerated and do not last as long. In Europe, we vaccinate our chicken so they don't get salmonella and we don't wash our eggs, this means our eggs are Shelf stable and last for a looooong time, only bad if you shake it and it sounds like water, sometimes eggs can last months. But you need to wash your hands as their can be some bacteria on the shells 😊

Because our eggs are not washed, they go as they are laid to the box, you can sometimes spot some dirt and feathers :) It actually allows the eggs to stay protected longer from getting bad.
