The Gambia 🇬🇲 was one of my considerations when I desired to exit USA. I know that I could live well on my monthly budget there, but I didn't feel as if I had the trusted tried and true support not to be taken advantage of by "SOME" people there. Would love to visit, though.

It's very expensive compared with Ghana. Aside that, everything you cooked was Ghanaian. I even heard you mention 'abom' for the locally-made stew just as we call it in Ghana. The method is similar. Your 'blender' is also not new to us in Ghana, but in Ghana, we don't usually accompany 'abom' with potatoes. Instead, we use yam, green plantain, cocoyam or cassava. Thank you.

And Gambia is no exception. Go to your neighboring countries you will not complain about Gambia any more. It is what it is the whole world is going through hard times call inflation.
