It's so good to see people in your age group enjoying and appreciating the music I grew up with. The music from the 60's and 70's is the best!

Her soothing, angelic voice is as much needed in 2023 as it was 50 years ago, because as Don Henley once said, how can love survive in such a graceless age? Her love songs, spiritual voice and purity of tone is needed for this graceless age.

Whenever I hear this song, the hopefulness it expresses makes me so sad contrasted with the tragedy that was Karen Carpenter's short life.

Love your channel. I want to introduce you to an artist that is no longer with us, sadly he passed away some years back but his music is forever and to me he is the greatest folk singer ever. His music crosses into rock, country and pop. The first song by him I believe you should react to is called "Take Me Home Country Roads". The second is one called Annie's Song and the artist is John Denver. Please check them out.

@ItsMira-J Three words for you ladies " Close to you " That's the title to their 1970 hit song that basically started it all for the Carpenters. Check out that song I promise it won't disappoint.
