Good job matching the green primer paint of the plane. Today they normally run in a 5 fuselage consist. Wow they tail swings out a lot on the tighter turns you guys normally have. Surprised the kit didn’t come with the parts box’s you normally see on the cars. It is still fun seeing them come in.

Yes, hopefully the parts car is coming soon. There is a big overhang on the O-72, but it sure is a cool model.

Love it! Being an airline guy and a Boeing fan, I had to have the K-Line set and that fits my tiny little layout but that would be a cool shelf display with a lot of my aviation stuff around the house. On a related note, the airline I work for flies the 747-400LCF known as the Dream Lifter for Boeing which flies the 787 Dream Liner carbon fibre fuselage and wing parts around the world for Boeing from their manufacture in Japan to the final assembly plant for Boeing in Charleston. Same job as the BNSF hauling those but in the skies. Take care guys! Another fun video!

@@GfwTrains, If you watch my Christmas video, you may see a little of both. It's in my Livingroom and the planes I call my "Dust Fleet" are on display over the TV playing the big digital fireplace, and if memory serves me right, you may see one of my wooden props on display on the mantle over my real fireplace (not lit). But yeah, planes trains and automobiles. I'm pretty sure OG has been to my office before it was my office. We are in the old Northwest Cargo ramp and NW office facility on the north end of the airport where NW parked all of it's cargo 747's when he was flying and flying through ANC.

That's a cool model!! Ineed the "Big O-27" model.🤣I see the real ones on trains going to Renton. Then when they're assembled the greenies do approaches at my local airport on their test flight. Most 737s only have 1 test flight of about 2.5 - 3 hours. Painting the exterior is one of the last jobs before delivery.

Can you please advise the source of the colors and or brand of paint used? Also I think you mentioned you would building your own shortly, please advise if you do a video of that. Just ordered 2 of these. I fly the -300,-400 and -800 and have been wanting to model this for some time now. Already have the Atlas 89’ flat cars so I’m ready to go.

Skeeter! How cool that you now have the model. Also, it is so neat that you fly them too. I cant remember the paint, but I will look it up. I have not built mine, but I will put out a video when I do. Thanks for watching. I am still on the look out for the 89 foot flats.

what type of 737 is it 100-800 or a max?
@GfwTrains

It is a 737-800 in the video. They also offer a 737-100. Thanks for watching. I hope you enjoyed the video.
@skeetermctavish5386

The -100 was the first ever made and was the shortest. It had the tiny Pratt and Whitney JT8D-7 engines….very loud. The newer -800 is a stretched version that was eventually used to create the Max. This particular -800 would use the GE CFM56 engines which are much larger and more round than the -300,-400,-500 (referred to as classics) which are a bit flat on the bottom because these variants sit lower than the -800. The -700 and above series of B737’s were referred to NG’s or next generation. The MAX was the NG on steroids with a more powerful engine, redesigned wing and engines.
