Former bad company tour manager here. I’m glad you like it. I still love it every day. How about “ready for love” from them? I don’t think I’ve done that one, but I may be wrong. And “movin on” is a really good one too Ready for Love was written by this guitar player when he was in the band Mott the Hoople. And yes, that is the correct spelling and band name. Ha ha ha.

Yeah, they’re talking about how “Ready For Love” was one of their favorite tunes by Bad Co.. I was so glad to have seen them get to that one a few months back as it was the one I always requested in the comments. “Movin On” would also be a great one for them to check out, but I’m really holding out for “Gone Gone Gone”, as I’ve always felt it was an often overlooked gem of a tune. Really wish I could’ve caught em live, as that would likely be one of the best shows ever, with a solid rocking set list to boot. Growing up in the 70’s, I remember Bad Co as one of those bands that everyone would get into when one of their songs would come on, unlike many other bands, even great ones, who had a certain “type” of fan, Bad Co always had that across-the-board appeal, an instant cred of undeniable greatness.

I swear, it's like all three of these songs, all totally different, but all done with so much feeling & pulls at your heart. Just great songs. Saw them many times but 2 shows are burned into my memory. Schaeffer Music Festival in NY, got tickets for Foghat (another fave), but their sales weren't great, they added an opening act just signed to Zeppelin's Swan Song label, Bad Company and they killed. Outdoor venue went absolutely berserk when a fellow named Jimmy Page came out for an oncore with them. Spectacular! Then 1st time headlining MSG, managed with a friend to get 12 tickets in 6-7 rows orchestra, right side in front of guitarist Mick Ralph's. Every friend we had loved them so we decided not to scalp them and a dozen of us went. By the end of the show we were all standing on the seats dancing and Mick looks at us in amazement goes over to Paul, elbows him to look at us and Paul comes back with Mick right in front of us and they're playing the final song looking at us going nuts and loving it lol. This was my friend's fave group and I miss him every time I hear a song or even their name being mentioned. Some wonderful memories.
