Just found your channel and watched a few of your videos which had some resonance for me. I'm 59 (60 in July) and emotionally ready for 'retirement'. Just a thought, maybe replace the word 'retirement' for 'financial independence'. I think it's reaching financial independence which prevents some of us from 'retiring' from full time work.

Agree 100% with this - financial independence is the key thing.

I am retiring at 32. It seems too early, but I can always change my mind, and with some effort, re-enter the workforce.

Wow! 32 is early. I’d barely got going at 32. Are you sure it’s not just a career break?

@@nickjmaher I thought this is what your video is about 😊 "are you sure it's not just a career break?" is basically "you are not really retired."

@@ZelenoJabko Not at all. At first, I didn't consider myself retired. I was taking a break. But I never went back to full-time work, and when I realised I was never going to, then I considered myself retired.

I've enjoyed your content over the last few months. A question if I may, in order to enjoy spending as you say in 'the youth of your senior years' , you need to be confident that the money saved, won't run out. Do you use a financial planner/advisor, or do you prefer to manage it yourself. Keep up the good work.

I used a financial planner in the early years of my retirement. Self-managed for the last 15 years.
