Dr Sarah Jarvis MBE Chilblains are small, itchy, painful lumps that develop on the skin as an abnormal response to cold. patient.info/health/chilblains
Thank you. I sit at our kitchen table quite a bit and have recently put a mat under the table. My tootsies a little bit warmer for doing so

Photos of actual chilblains would have been useful so that patients could check that they actually have them.

Having chilblains repeatedly also can deform fingers and toes.

I a child I spent my summers in Malta and winters in boarding schools doing forced cross-country runs. And had bad chilblains. At 70 they returned again. On Amazon, I searched for a chilblain cure. This product came up. "Akilenjur". I have no idea what it contains as the tube is written in Swiss or German. I do know it works after one treatment.

The best way to keep them low is by always keeping your hands and feet covered. Gloves, socks, blanket, pockets everything. They don't know why chilblains are caused or it's remedy.

Thanks. Developed chilblains for first time since childhood after first Covid jab. GP said no connection. later said several patients reported the same. Not serious and certainly I continue with Covid jabs.

Try going on the keto diet since it has something to do with circulation a high inflammatory diet from foods like sugar and carbs make it worse

I am used to treat my chilblains by warm therapy, that is I put my hands and feet in warm water every night for 15 minutes. and then cover up and go to bed
@jahmeilwellington6681

Does that work
@shehrbano8483

@@jahmeilwellington6681 thats why I do. 🙂 I forgot to mention that I also put some salt in that water... keep extra hot water aside so that when water temperature fall, I could raise it again. it works but it need consistency... you've to be regular with that. and also it should be done before bed otherwise cold winds just worsen the situation.

NOOOOO. THATS FROSTBITE!!! NOT CHILLBLAINS. Chilblains are basically an extremely slimmed down frostbite but chillblaines don’t need to be treated by medical attention
