for first question you can use pythagoras which is in my opinion easier as you dont need to convert to centimetres
@captainphysicss

Correct, but only to check your answer. for GCSE you need to draw the scale diagram

how would you tackle a calculation? I always understand the formulas but never understand which ones I need to use especially in 5/6 mark calculations where multiple formulas are needed

but speed = distance/time , why have you said speed=distance x time for the last question?

I haven't,.it's just the symbols - s is used for distance

Thank you SIr. one little question; don't we need to draw the vectors head to tail in the first question?
@captainphysicss

Yes that is the more correct way -- you would at A-level. AQA mark schemes use this way though

For the last question, shouldn’t we round it to 16
@captainphysicss
3 ай бұрын
No as it says number of "complete" orbits - so we would round down
@TubTheGreat
3 ай бұрын
no because it says how many complete orbits, it does not make 16 complete orbits it only makes 15 complete orbits

Hi, for the diagram, how do you know which angle to measure as there is another one in the same corner you could measure? Also why do you draw it flipped (is there a reason for this)?
@captainphysicss
3 ай бұрын
The mark scheme allows either angle, as long as you show on the diagram. Sometimes it may specify a particular one
@captainphysicss
