NO CC is not going to be on the Olympic team and NO the team will not regret it. The SOLE INTENT of the team is to win gold in the Olympics and CC's inclusion or exclusion will not affect it one way or the other. She is neither NEEDED to win or WANTED as a distraction.

She won't have to decline because they will not ask her. CC is the best thing to happen to women's basketball. But I get it she's a rookie and in time she will make the Olympic team. But think about the NBA dream team in the Olympics. They took one rookie fresh out of college player with them. I forget his name but he regretted it and later on the players admitted that they regretted it to. It was a bad look and there were other players just because they had been in the league longer deserved that one spot. I don't think CC needs that kind a negative publicity.. LET HER EARN IT ON HER OWN SHE WILL.. and just because she is not on it if you're hoping they lose or rooting against the team USA then in my opinion that's an UnAmerican

Reeve’s actions over the weekend demonstrated that she lacks the sensitivity, integrity and ethics to voluntarily make this corrective statement. Something tells me Reeve got called to the principal’s office (WNBA Commissioner). Her comments and actions over the weekend were careless at best and race baiting at worse. She should be removed as the coach of the Olympic team. She is ignorant and narrow minded to represent USA on foreign Shores. The Olympic Organization must do better!

Respectfully Ms Cheryl Reeve, many of us had know idea you existed prior to Ms Caitlyn Clark becoming an WNBA player. This can likely be said of most of the talent in the WNBA. Ms Wilson, a great player, one of the all time best, love her play but was totally unaware of her elite level of play and dominance. Watching The Indiana Fever TEAM reminds me of the ‘Miracle on Ice’ , minus Herb Brooks! I’m not a fan of the WNBA but these women, as a TEAM have the potential to make themselves great. My advice is to play as a TEAM, run and gun, pass and pick, and keep your heads up! Go Girls!

I like the way CC doesn’t take all the credit herself when being interviewed she’s grateful for her team. She always has something good to say about AB and KM she does not take his credit herself and that’s what makes her special. I think it’s the way CC was raised and brought up. I am a long-time CC fan who watched her as a Hawkeye. At first, I was upset. She was not invited to Team USA. But then I watched the first 89 games. The fever had to play. After a short break and some practice and rest, they came out a completely different team And have been improving ever since. I have changed my mind about Team USA. I would much rather see Kaitlyn and the fever. Rest up practice. Get a little gym time and come back after the Olympics to rock the world. There will be another Olympics in four years. God will’in and the creek don’t rise. Caitlyn will be able to play that point so yeah I’ve concluded it was if it was meant as a snub in any way number 22 and the fever will turn that into Sweet HumbleHumble Pie.

Does Caitlin deserve to go to the Olympics? Absolutely! She is averaging just as many points as Diana Taurasi is (or was, since Diana's currently injured) and she is a phenomenal basketball player. She would be amazing for Team USA. But (in my opinion here) she needs a break. She's been going hard since her senior college basketball season started last year, and it would be good for her to have a break and calm down a bit. I think she should decline if USA asks her. And who are we kidding? Caitlin wouldn't even play if she went to the Olympics.

Without CC, the USA women’s basketball team will be a joke. Reeve is a jealous joke. Those who exclude someone with CC’s skills, are so outrageous to the point of being ridiculous! After this season, Those racists will look like clowns.

I agree with both opinions, go and not go. Caitlin desperately needs rest. She is challenged night and day on every front. I also believe she deserves to go to Paris. Other rookies have gone and she is performing at a level that warrants this recognition. I must say, however, if she went she would be bullied and challenged constantly by her own team, further exhausting her. Sad.
