I love model channels like this, your attention to even the smallest details and even trying to figure out insane things like fiber optic physics is next level. Keep up the great work!

haha thanks, but as the video explains I gave up on trying to figure out maximum light output and settled for "that looks good enough"!

Looked at the popularity of your channel after watching, holy cow your channel is criminally* underrated, keep up the good work.

Thanks so much. Really cool of you to say that. I think YT needs me to have a few more videos in the library but I'm working on it!

Looks amazing. Great weathering. Really like watching your videos. Evan Designs for tiny LEDs, popular in the Bandai crowd.

Thanks so much. I'm really happy with how it turned out. I've looked at Evan Designs and might get some going forward. I really wanted try my hand at soldering these little SMDs but man they can be challenging!

Very cool build. I'd be very interested in more detailed tutorial on soldering the fiber and usb connector. Haven't seen that done much on other channels. Feels like you kind of mostly scooted around that bit.

Thanks! To be very honest, I don't plan on doing "tutorial" videos for now. I'm still quite new to the hobby and not an expert to the point where I can instruct anyone. These videos are simply showing how I do it. For the USB connector I actually learned this from the Models By Chris channel. He does this in a few of his Star Wars Bandai kits. As for fiber optics, check out this video from Evan Designs kzitem.info/news/bejne/mJiamYavimlzpmUsi=2y2E2z8fGUbrOp4W

Hah, thanks so much. It's only about 6 months between videos lol. I am going to try one every 2 months but I've got a full time job and kid so that'll be a real challenge.

Great build! It’s hard to tell in the video, but does the final finish have a blue tint like in the Empire strikes back?

Thanks so much! Just like the studio filming model, the color changes depending on the light but to my eyes, it does have a blue tint to it. Just not as much as what you might find in the ESB reference photos.

Cool up until the cringey sex jokes imo. Adds nothing to, and cheapens, an otherwise well done vid
