Also wanted to hear your take on the theory that there are underground wells and waterways across Westeros and thats the reason Raventree Halls weirwood died is due to Pennytrees metal getting into the water??

i like the theory that some first men kings were greenseer kings or warg kings. and like varamyr six-skins, they would sire as many children as possible so that one might have tbe gift and protect the clan from other wargs. that could be the so called "hero's blood". very creepy stuff

Is Azor Ahai was First Men or Great Empire, is it fair to say that Nissa Nissa was a Singer and thats why so many of the first men houses have warg traces?

To me it always seemed that the first men were analogous to the Celtic Britons, the andals were the same to the angles, jutes, and saxons, and the targaryens were the normans. Of course, in the books the first men seem to have more germanic characteristics like the later norse and the saxons (probably because the norse vikings are the most popular tribal europeans in popular conscious), the andals seem to be much more characteristically like the frankish (much like Charlemagne's religious war against the germanic pagans in which he burned down their holy tree Irminsul- hello weirwoods) , and the valyrians seemed quite roman for obvious reasons. That being said I do think because our first perspective, not counting the prologue, is Eddard Stark we tend to feel a closer bond as readers to the north and the first men. They come off as honorable and stable and good while the southerners below the neck seem much more scheming and conniving. Of course, this is turned on it's head later in the books with the Boltons, but that first impression lingers on.

Were the First Men really the first men on Westeros? I think not. The Hightowers & Daynes seem to be from an even older culture
