The phrase 'once bitten twice shy', was made for a reason. There are many people who do not realize just how severe and impact a significant other can have on a man. I have seen men be completely and utterly destroyed by the Betrayal of their spouse. My ex-fiancé broke up with me on Valentine's Day 2017 and fell into heavy alcoholism, that relationship was doomed from the start. Constantly fighting and crying. Met my now husband in July of 2018... I had never known what a healthy relationship was like. It took him years for me to fully trust him, all it took was him saying "I don't like you drinking and suffering every day.. please stop" in the saddest voice you could ever think of. I realized if it wasn't for him actually putting time and care into the relationship, I would be in a grave so I dropped everything to be better. He was shy, quiet, and hardly spoke at first, would enjoy just being there, and never fully smiled... now if he's around me, he won't shut up and I think that's absolutely adorable. He's studying Computer Engineering, he loves computers, knows almost anything about them, he will go on a tangent about them, and anything worth his important thoughts I listen. Sometimes very sassy, bad dad jokes even though he's not a father yet, and loves to cook too; He's the definition of a true "Nice guy" even tho he can be an ass-

Even when married.... you aren't bonded. It's a contract, but one without a seal, so it can be forfeited. And it's the women that do that the most. They'll still use you even after the pointless marriage. That's the statistics, at least. I had 7 chances so far, I'm only 21. 3 were shot down by me because I had the audacity to assume I wasn't enough and boring. The other 4 were people around me ruining it for me. I don't get it. Why not leave a man to have his own bit of happiness? A special type of happiness that is slowly becoming a privilege, instead of the choice and chance it used to be. Feminism created the illusion of worth, and it became the downfall of the family unit all in one go.

But I actually talked to him at homecoming when I was dating another man (other man as great, but I didn't have many feelings for him.) but anyways, I realized how sweet he was and started to laugh with him and such. I had a 'crush' on him before but I didn't know him at all, I just thought he was cute yk. But anyways on Halloween we coincidentally dressed up as plague doctors and I stuck by his side all night, then I confessed my feelings for him. He was scared to even touch my hand or speak to me, but now about 1 year and a half later, he kisses me and holds me Infront of loved ones, talks about marriage and we both have promise rings. Another time he told a story about having an affair with a pregnant married coworker. 🤢 And another time he very sincerely explained how BAD I looked. And he confessed to our adult son that all the stories he constantly told about trying out for the Navy Seals and going thru BUDS training was BS.

A woman who had laid there and held me on nights when the nightmares wouldn't stop. Who was willing to give up so much just to be with me. All of this went through my mind as I saw her walking up the isle in that beautiful dress. I realized everything that day she had to do alone because I had been deployed. I broke down in tears for probably the first time in my adult life. I never let her go after that, every year for the last 19 years I have gone out if my way to show her just how much I love her. She's given me 3 amazing children and a life I didn't even know I wanted. Hold on to the ones that make your heart race and your mouth go dry. The ones who will drop everything to be there for you. My husband is the one I have loved since we were 11 years old. We went our separate ways and met up again about 16 years later. We started dating immediately and I found out that later on that he is the second son and next in line to inherit most of his incredibly wealthy family’s immense fortune. I refused to marry him even after having our first son because that would mean I would be entitled to the fortune as well. I was raised in a fairly well off family but was taught to NEVER assume anything was mine unless I worked hard for it. I told my husband that I would marry him after I paid off any and all of my debts so that we could start fresh for our baby boy. I never thought I would experience a love and joy like the fairytales, but here I am. I will always and forever be grateful for the family I have ❤

I was quite literally the happiest man on earth. I still break down when i think about it. I could have swore i finally found someone who loved me for me. We went to the beach every year she drove a brand new car and i was paying for our brand new house. Now about a year later after being married i came in to find her in our bed with another man. He literally jumped out the window and took off. I wasnt mad at him or hurt and still im not. Im hurt more then i ever have been. She chose to do this to me the very week my dad died from liver failure. And acted like i was the one who did something wrong?? Like i didnt give her enough attention. I had to work 7 days a week from 9am to 10pm everyday. To pay for everything we had cable new car new phones new house her hair and nails were done every week and she got to eat out all the time while i had to eat something from my job. I couldnt believe it. But yea... Morales of the story dont trust anyone. Ever no matter houw trustworthy they may seem.
