I've always discussed about food cultures with my western colleagues and I know how complicated it could be to explain things, due to the diversity and the generally huge difference from western food. That being said, I'm really impressed by your way of summarizing and delivering all the information in such a clear and enjoyable way. I definitely learned some ideas from you. There's a funny fact only Chinese could possibly know. The waitress selling tofu brain in the north actually has a southern accent like Suzhou or Hangzhou; and the seller of tofu flower is obviously a northeastern accent. 🤣 Great video. Obviously I know them in English, but it's a bit challenging for me to find a good translation and explanation. This video is perfect. Thanks 😘

You did a great job of introducing Chinese breakfast. My fav is youtiao and soymilk! The Chinatown in Philly has really authentic dim sum and youtiao, baozi, even tofu nao!!!!!

@@RD-ht6go No, Dim Sum is breakfast, I am a Cantonese I know so well, in the past people eat Dim Sum in the morning, but because its popularity now people can eat Dim Sum on the afternoon even in the evening.

KVZ RD is not wrong actually, cos in West like UK, there is no any Chinese restaurant serving Dim Sum as breakfast, it’s all for lunch starting from midday noon till 2pm normally but I’m sure Dim Sum is definitely breakfast in China 😂

You dare to challenge Dou Zhi?! How brave! I have tried 4 times in the past trying to honor the city I grew up but failed miserably. My maximum achievement was 4 sips(!) before my body reacted with gagging. I was totally defeated. Thanks! > §
