This can be such as going to a nice movie theatre and looking at the costs associated with both the movies and concessions; active events such as night markets, go-carting, zip lines, driving a race car :D. Not sure what kind of budget you have, but consider things for an active lifestyle. I look forward to your future videos!

Depends on the type and scale of business. Most corporations here follows international standards, mostly adapted from US. Of course, large chunk of the standards are pro Filipinos in terms of culture, labor laws (13th month pay, Christmas holidays, local fiesta, etc.). In day to day interaction, smile is a must or you'll never get that "suki" back. Foreigners are only allowed up to 40% shares of the company. These are just few of the many unique points in business here in PH.

I like the fact that you concentrate on things a decent person would do in the Phillippines. Too many channels concentrate on the "ladies" of the Philippines. But I also notice too damned many people wearing masks. That makes me nervous about moving there.
@JamesIsHereRightNow
Жыл бұрын
Most of the locals continue to mask because it makes them feel safer; it’s a cultural thing. Ever since the president made mask-wearing optional both indoors and outdoors (with basically only hospitals excepted), I’ve not worn a mask anywhere - nor have I been asked to do so.
@TheSavvyExpat
Жыл бұрын
I've always been put off by how many vlog channels here make Filipina bait videos... This channel is directed towards people who primarily want to move to the Philippines for the country itself, not for the dating scene. As for the masks, they're not strict at all anymore.

O the disappointment 😑😮💨 You guys didn't even mention Andok's Chicken. How could you? 😛 (Jokes aside, I tried Andok's, got hooked - needed the protein, you understand:)) then I heard about Rat-Problems\droppings, and I remembered I often felt a bit queasy after one of their roasted chickens). As a person who workout a lot and protein means a lot to me, it was hard to eat out in the Phils; that's why I rent condos in order to shop for all the meats\chicken and fish I like, and other local ingrediencies, sweet potato - mmmmmyummy - and yams, *GOOD FOOD* 💪😆that's what I'm talking about. I like home cooking. When I buy chicken from places like Jollibee I always found that I was being conned, lots of skin and fat hidden under lovely golden batter with zero nutritional value; they rip you off like that. I don't eat skin and fat, I want CHICKEN FLESH 😋 Many other places I ate at in the Phils employed the same trick. You get more for your money if you're *Savvy* in the kitchen and like home cooking - like me.
@manilamartin1001
Жыл бұрын
I just cook at home as well. I wouldn't say they rip you off at restaurants, just the taste experience isn't the same. It's hard to adjust to the fat levels of the meat served in restaurants here.
@-BigIi-
Жыл бұрын
@@manilamartin1001 Because I workout a lot, when I travel to the Phils I often look for protein-rich foods, and often I find the fried chicken is deceptive, it turns out to be mostly batter wrapped around lots of inedible pieces, or skin and bone and fat, which aren't edible at all; it's hardly ever chicken flesh itself wrapped in batter, but it's more bits and pieces of stuff you can't really eat wrapped in batter; hence I said it's really a ripoff, no way is this accidental.
