Etch does a great job on our yearly weed applications. They transformed our yard from a weedy nightmare to lush grass in about a year and it looks amazing. Keep up the great work!

It's not about how much you make but how much you keep....most big maintenance companies just pay bills....worked for all the big boys

You can say that again. If you don’t know your numbers, you can easily spin your wheels in this business.

I can appreciate the managerial mantras he rattled off, but there has to be a balance. Giving the guys energy drinks for $1 makes sense, but in the same breath he pointed at a $40,000 truck he admitted they don’t even use. I’m just saying it goes both ways. He is obviously a smart guy, so kudos to him. Just don’t optimize so much that you lose touch with the business. Your employees and equipment are more than just a number on a spreadsheet. Cheers, brother.

Not sure which truck we don’t use, but looking at the shop this morning there’s one truck left in here. Everything goes out everyday!

Man look into jade enterprises here in Berea Kentucky, they have to be running a million dollar business and the guy that owns it has basically transferred all authority down to his 22 year old son, it’s really neat to see! I see their trucks and crews everywhere.

What are the core values that were posted on your door?
My greatest issues with these videos isn't the success of the people , but the shift in thinking that success is just getting behind a computer screen , answering the phone and becoming administration for a 3-4 or 5 million a year Agro business . If that's what the end game is , then I am happy with where i am and my $217 a year . Great videos though and great shops .

Depending on the place doing lot sweeping and stripping is a great thing. Having a reputable company do it would sell me rather than a guy doing it in a beat up truck. Especially when your trucks look great.

Thanks Brian and Sam. Sam's emphasis on how important his people are to him is likely to be a major factor in his rapid success. Does Etch pressure wash commercial sidewalks?

For your fertilizer crew id want to care as many bags ad i can out down in one day to be most efficient. 20 bags doesn’t enough for a day. I put dow 70 bags in 14 hrs.

Dude makes 5-10% and provides his team water at cost, pay attention. How much water do you give away to your team and how’s your $3m business going? If you don’t have one, then shut it.
