Thanks for the vid. I do have this as well, and it messes with my ability to OHP, making the lift very asymmetrical. Also, lateral raises are very difficult to do just because it is hard to keep the shoulder in the correct position; it is just sorta flapping around, popping, and clicking. No pain during the exercises, but I do have some discomfort whenever I raise the arm in an internally rotated position. Any tips?

Did you fix it? if you see this how did you do it?

@@stino1434 Yeah, I guess I did. Didn't do much, though. Just kept lifting, hitting the shoulder from all angles possible with relatively low weights, always focusing on form and mind-muscle connection. A lot of different kinds of shoulder prehab/health exercises also helped; so did upper back work and working on my posture in general. Facepulls were really, really helpful. Also, I've been doing a lot of pushups in a wide variety of ways, and as a result, I now have a really well developed serratus anterior, which might be one of the reasons for my improved shoulder stability.

its not looking good for me bro,, I am new to the gym and i am suffering quite bad, i spend like half of my reps trying to keep my shoulders in place rather then just lifting. the worst excersies i know which i kindof avoid or find some unconventional methods to train the same parts are curls were you train the shoulders, and like military press thingy and so on.,,, I really need help@@hansverigson6865

If you have no progress then it’s likely you have structural damage and should get an MRI with contrast dye to see the root cause.

Damn it man I really need to get my shoulder check but this is a probable cause or it might even be impingement

I did this when i was a kid infront of my parents and they said its nothing serious, 10 years later and i have dislocated both of my shoulders due to sport injuries cuz of my unstable shoulders and now suffering from shoulder subluxation. Thanks a lot mom and dad🤡

They also blamed me for getting injured and didnt want to take me to get it checked out. Now when i get injured i just keep quiet and deal with it but they ask me why i dont tell them anything when they see scars or hear me talk about how my shoulder popped out again. I dont understand anything now

@@justhenryquek I’m lucky my parents listened, my doctor was actually the one who said nothing was wrong. Got a second opinion on my subluxations and the doctor ordered and MRI. Sure enough I need surgery.

How we fix it?

Depends on the root cause. However any exercises that stabilize the glenohumeral joint will suffice.

What do you think about using FLR in training!

So are you saying if in a neutral state, the scapula looks like that, then that what causes impingement. But if everyone tried to pull the scapula the way you did, that doesn’t mean there is something wrong with them

What about a significant one sided performance decline and pain? Isn‘t it another sign of joint instability? 🥲
