Interesting video as always! When we first built our shop El Camino, it had a 525 hp naturally aspirated LS1 (aluminum small block). The intent was that it could drag race, road race and carry engines around in the back and do it all on the same street tires. It weighed in with the same 52/48 front/rear weight distribution as your Camaro. In that configuration, it ran 12.8's in the quarter mile and did great on road courses. When people would see it at the drag street, they'd suggest we put cement bags in the back for better traction because that's what worked for them back in the day. The difference was that their SS iron big blocks weighed so much more more. Getting a couple of hundred pounds out of the nose was even more important for road racing due to how it affected steering and braking.

I love how you experimented by having April lay on the back of Salty, hahahaha.

Nice I definitely have a few things I can still get out of the car but we’re sitting decent. You always wish it was lighter though lol
