How could we ever get along if we keep sinning - stealing, murdering, lying etc and have a relationship with our Creator if we don't set aside time for Him every week on the Sabbath day? To the woman caught in adultery Jesus said "Go and sin no more" John 8:11 - sin is destructive, God's Laws are for our good. We must repent to enter God's Kingdom as a Spirit being as a member of His family, or it would be no better than living on this Earth as we do now in suffering because of sin.

does repentance mean we never sin again? I have always been taught that we as humans will continue to sin but Jesus intervenes for us if we Claim Him as our Lord and Savior, and that is when God starts His work in us. What am I missing, SIGNED: ALL ABOUT TRUTH...

Great question! No, repentance doesn’t mean we’ll never sin again. The Bible is clear that sin is something Christians will have to battle against throughout their lives. Even the apostle Paul, decades into his conversion and ministry, was still fighting against sin (Romans 7:23-24). Rather than a one-time event, repentance is better described as an ongoing process. Very good, but missing one key component. What is sin? Mainstream christianity does not know the definition of sin as given in scripture because it has never been taught to them. Unless they understand that, I don't think true repentance can be fully comprehended. 1 John 3:4 tells us "Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness and sin is lawlessness." Most christians are taught that they are free from having to obey Yah's laws so they certainly have not been taught the actual definition of what Yah really considers sin. In order to truly repent, one must first come back to Yah's Ways, His Laws and Commandments.
