Thanks for the video, i recently found your channel and this video reminded me of the following verse. James 1:12-14 12 Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. 13 Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, and He Himself does not tempt anyone. 14 But each one is tempted when he is carried away and enticed by his own lust.

I agree, the spirit of Addiction, is the root of these habitual sin, we become slaves (Addicted). And this addiction leads to a seared conscience in many cases.

You seem to miss the point that we are no longer slaves to sin because we have been freed through Christ, without the freeing through Christ part we are most certainly slaves to sin, just as Paul relates in Romans 7 that we cannot deliver ourselves from this condition through our own willpower. He is saying that Christians need to realize that we are freed from this condition through Christ and that we need to walk in this truth by faith. In other words a slave or prisoner of sin can have the door to his cell opened and his emancipation papers signed and delivered, but he needs to walk out of his cell and act on the reality of his freedom. Freedom that was given to him and now is his, not a freedom he needs to work for to obtain. Reminds me of the story about prisoners being given their freedom, but they had become so comfortable with incarceration they chose to remain in their cell.

+Bungalo Bill I don't necessarily disagree with what you have written. I think that you have missed the point of the video, though.

+Bungalo Bill I agree with you about what happened in the Garden and about why people die physically. I've been teaching those things for years. I don't find the other things you have said in the Scriptures. No where in the Bible, that I am aware of, does it teach that we inherit a corrupted spirit from Adam. This is simply not true.

+RefutingCalvinism 1 Corinthians 15 verse 22 For as IN ADAM all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. This is talking about the reality of being in Adam just as much a reality as being in Christ. We inherit our dead spirits from Adam, just as we inherit our barring from access to the tree of life from Adam. If what you say were true then we should all start out in the garden with the same scenario that Adam and Eve had, and also have full access to the tree of life. We should get to make the same decision they did.

+Bungalo Bill That Scripture doesn't state or prove that we "inherit a corrupted spirit from Adam." The context in 1 Corinthians 15:22 is physical death, not inheriting a corrupt spirit from Adam. Yes, all humans will die physically because of Adam and Eve's sin. Because we were "kicked out" of the Garden with them and therefore have no access to the Tree of Life and living forever. To some degree, we do have the same decision that they do...our decision is just more difficult. We are born as innocent babies, being neither good nor evil. We aren't given a corrupted spirit from Adam, but unlike Adam, we are born into a sinful world that is full of corruption and temptation. We still must choose whether or not to give into that temptation. Everyone does and that is white we are "dead in trespasses and sins", not because of what Adam and Even have done, but because of what we have chosen to do.

+Bungalo Bill Romans 5 doesn't prove your point either. The reason that "death spread to all men" is because "all sinned", not because Adam sinned or because we "inherit a corrupt spirit from Adam." I'm still waiting for you to give me a Bible verse that states that, either explicitly or implicitly. You haven't done so yet and I don't believe that you can do it. Why not just toss that doctrine aside, since it is not founded upon Scripture, but upon human traditions and the doctrines of men?

Have you blocked me? I am truly trying to find the answer to this question of free will, It seems we have a WILL, Did God want us to Have a Free Will, Either way we have a Master, There seems to be no free will, only will. If you are too busy to go into detail about this question just say and ill find the answer somewhere else as with the promise knock and the door will be open
