Low quality jade: 00:26 Usually full of cracks and inclusions and dull, very uneven/ unpleasant colors, these are not fine jewelry quality and are of little value.
Rough texture: 00:53 Where you can clearly see the roughness and the crystals structures within the jade. This kind of jade is low in quality and value.
Relatively rough: 01:09 Where you can clearly see the crystal structures with in the jade still. but the roughness is less compared to the pinto beans. Also low in quality and value.
Fine in texture: 01:26 Represented by some soy milk. where you don’t really see the crystal structures anymore. makes this kind of jade medium quality jade.
Fine texture with color: 01:39 This kind is also medium quality jade but higher quality because of the colors. Typical jade quality.
Icy translucent texture: 01:55 Translucent but not transparent, you can see shadows of objects on through it but not clearly, this is high quality jade.
Highly icy with very fine texture: 02:17 Semi transparent and you can see words some what clearly through it. This type of jade is high quality, collectable jade
Highly icy with intense color: 02:38 Glassy, high ice texture that allows light to pass and you can see texts clearly through it. This type of jade is highly collectable, highly valuable jade
