I use MacroFactor more than MFP. I’m currently eating back up to maintenance and then doing a mini bulk. Trying to do it lean this time around so it doesn’t take me long to slim back down

53 yo, 5'10" - 163lbs. 16% bf. Trying to gain muscle. My challenge is that as I increase carbs, my blood sugar increases (almost to diabetic range). Any advice?

Lol better off sometimes just watching one video and keeping that on replay until u see results otherwise they get us inconfesas sometimes. But it’s also important to remember they are creating these vids for a vast audience opting for different methods to achieve better fitness…. So take what applies best for you.

P.S he’s also mentioned that if someone wants to have more variety in their diet then they’d need to track. In this video he’s talking about eating carbs which is consistent with what he’s been saying before.

@@joshuabellamy2488 u know what? Everyone responds differently to diets… people generally do not want to experiment with their macros, micros and portions… but they have to. It’s a journey.

Considering Collagen Peptides is NOT a full Amino profile, should I include the 20 grams per day I consume in my morning coffee? Thank you!

You really shouldn’t need to eat so much when you’re bulking. A few hundred calories above maintenance is more than enough.
