@ciclurieconomice8494 at community section is charts real estate related.... USA Real Monthly Principal And Intrest Price Index USA Sept 2023 actual bubble...and the coming bust (same bubble in 87-90...2005-2007 same bust in 92-95....2009-2012...same in 2028 2030...)

I don't know, but what I'm hoping for is that the early birds that get into investments today with private capital will be able to start projects & sell them off to institutional investors with large returns pre-stabilization

I worked in commercial real estate appraisal and had to leave back in the summer. It was a brutal 2023 but hoping for a much better 2024!

How do you think a real estate research background suits for REPE. It’s at an institutional fund mostly doing structural and thematic analysis & fund strategy also supporting the acquisitions team. Have a background in B4 accounting and currently work in a fixed income role at the same asset manager (on the distribution side) but am expecting an offer in the real assets research team.

Surely a large proportion of borrowers who took out finance on floating rates would have covered these with interest swaps for a known fixed rate that gave them certainty.

recession is coming, US CC DEBT delinquent over 90 days is nearly 11%, higher than 2008, last employment report 75% jobs created were Gov't and Medical... Distress is coming once unemployment peaks 5-6%.
