And remember that plastic bags, crockery, toys, batteries, electricals, wood and textiles are OUT.

Hi there, although bare brown cardboard (excluding washing detergent boxes and plasticised cardboards or waxed cardboards) can go into the green organics bin, we now can accept and prefer all cardboard to go into the blue topped recycling bin as this way it will get recycled back into cardboard as opposed to compost.

The reason I like this video is because Brent council website is SHIT! I can never get on it, it's always down. It's the only website that ever gives me an error message saying that my connection isn't private. The other reason is because you can literally NEVER call them! And even when you do manage to miraculously get through they don't even do the thing you ask for. Like when we asked for a new brown bin... They brought us TWO new blue bins! Then they took all three of our blue bins away?????????????? Then they brought back a broken skinny blue bin. When I asked to get it replaced they said we would have to pay for it... Then... To top it all off. They never EVER brought us our brown bin. So it's refreshing to get the information that I need from their website on a reliable website (KZitem).

Polystyrene is a different type of plastic, which cannot be recycled - this will need to go in your landfill bin (or be reused).
