What I love about these Knicks are that different role players are getting hot at the right time. Game 1 : Mitchell Robinson and Mcbride were exactly what we needed to stop embiid and Mcbride making massive 3s. Game 2 : Donte and Hartenstein were stellar, dontes shot was falling and hartenstein upped his defense. Bog stepped as well. Meanwhile, hart has been a continuous engine and you know exactly what you're gonna get from him. The shooting is on fire right now at the right time. OG has been doing a fantastic job as a defensive anchor and hitting clutch shots. Without OG, we can't rotate on defense as well. And this is while Brunson is struggling hard AND we still have a fresh Precious on the bench. Im predicting Brunson is going to go off in Philly. I think he is going to lock in from his Nova days and something is gonna click

I saw physical play on both sides. Refs aren't going to solve mental lapses. Maxey pushed hart under basket for inbounds pass that he fumbled so it is what it is. Calls are gonna go either way, throughout the game. What I see is a sixers team that doesn't have any role players showing up. If Hield doesn't start being aggressive, it's a wrap.
@dezba1352
28 күн бұрын
L2M: - maxeys contact on hart is marginal and a correct no call - nick nurse called and should have been granted a timeout before the ball was inbounded - brunson contact on maxey was illegal and foul call was missed - harts contact on maxey that pushed him to the ground was illegal and call was missed - second timeout was a right no call because it is unclear if maxey has possesion "calls are gonna go either way"
@dezba1352

~ Young fans…. Do yall NOW understand why the old heads were complaining so much? No? Well these games were filled with “drama@ and competition on both ends of the court. There was physical defense, there was mid range and post play. Tenacity, momentum swings, clutch plays by players, great defensive plays. This is the standard of competition that created the standard for NBA play. The refs even let them play… the players will and have adjusted. The Old heads complain because they understood that previous era’s gave us games like this in abundance. It was about the team game and getting a W, earning a dub. Stats be damned! Hustle and determination as shown on when Isiah Hartenstein flew in for that offensive board before the kick out to DiVincenzo for the go ahead and game winning three. Hell last night was great even for an Old head like me. Sidenote: the solid fundamental guard play of the “Villanova Guards” is beautiful to watch…. it ain’t about stats in these games. If you watch basketball you’ll understand why guys Like Kyle Lowery is still in the league competing in the playoffs…. but if you don’t know ball and just look at stats and highlights you will wonder why Mac McClung is NOT in the league. With the up coming talent in this league. With the current stars This decade has the potential to be one of the best era’s ever. Once Lebron retires. Out with the old. In with the New. Jokic. and the Nuggets brought me back to basketball. via Hometown Will Barton… and White Boy Tim ~ The GM - Salute shoutout to the Baltimore connection ~ Yeah Mike Malone via New York played college ball in Baltimore and started his coaching career here in the most underrated hoop city in America. Baltimore! ( The one dribble pull up, left or right, that Carmelo shit, yeah, that’s that Baltimore shit~ y’all are welcome ~ our gift to basketball ~ Home of the Mid Range assassins !!!)
