Jw is still like a sub 1.0 rating in t2 its actually kinda sad, he dominated this game for years as a contender for goat awper just to fall of the radar entirely.

i dont get how that happens

@@maxaffe3195 idunno fallen is 3 years older and still dominating with a significant rating so I'm going to go on a limb here and say it's due to the KennyS syndrome since both players had the same playstyle, Kenny S is still a ranked demon and is better than just about any other pro player in faceit winrate, that's because his extremely aggressive self serving playstyle is amazing for pugs but the meta changed especially after astralis happened and such an aggressive solo playstyle just isn't viable anymore, you get flashed off and traded. Jw was even more aggressive than even kennyS and it shows by how they both fell off at exactly the same time even though Kenny is 3 years younger than jw and 6 years younger than fallen. It's all a matter of failing to adapt to the meta. Famous passive awpers stayed relevant while the hyper aggressive ones fell off. The only exception is s1mple but he also has a lot of team utility spent specifically on him for his plays and he can bhop onto a box In a fully smooth transition, insta counter strafe and shoot in one motion which is something no other player can or ever could do. It's why he can just bhop into inferno aps from a site and take a kill off of it consistently. Jw and Kenny lack this insane movement factor to their plays.

It happens to every legend. Not one player who is relevant in 2013 is doing any better in today’s game. You can only remain relevant for so long. Only a select few can go on for 5 years+

Love these vids. But kinda missed out on why Flusha couldnt perform in C9, he had a close family member pass iirc, which made it very difficult to focus on the game, especially since C9 were in the US and his fam in sweden

I do look forward to the day when they retires and start working as a nurse or as a kind of helper within mental health organisations. The same as many other athletes does in Sweden when they retires.
