Barney I’ve been watching your content for a while and really believe in your work & vision. The excerpts for Helpisontheway sound fantastic. Have you considered doing KZitem shorts / tiktoks of you explaining and demonstrating musical concepts & discussing your favorite sections of famous symphonies / operas / concertos? I’m not a musician nor composer by any means, but I think your platform would be seen by your desired audience by utilizing the algorithm-boosted shorts / TikTok format. And your insight on musical concepts would be really cool to hear and see. I am also interested in hearing a computer generated recording of your Atala opera, which was how I initially stumbled upon your page. I’m a writer and big fan of chateaubriand and French literature in general. Would love to talk to you about all things creative, literary or musical. Hope this message finds you well! Edit: I noticed that you have actually utilized shorts, forgive me, I didn’t see that until now!

Hi! Thank you for watching and for your kind yet astute words about my work and vision. I am so happy to hear that you enjoyed the excerpts of helpisontheway, I will have many more to come. As far as your suggestion for KZitem Shorts and TikTok shorts, that is a great idea. Yes, I have experimented with that in the past, with mixed success: I did not find that the explainer/music education videos worked very well, but the music ones worked well if the recording had high sound quality. I had been thinking of going back to Shorts now that I have good audio, so your suggestion is further confirmation! Wow, you watched my video on Atala? Awesome, I actually set it down for the time being, as I have been focusing more on Salammbô, my opera-ballet. However, ultimately I want to hire a librettist who is fluent in French, and can take Chateaubriand and render it singable. I actually did record some piano improvisations but never released them, and I also wanted to orchestrate some ideas for Atala, so I may do that sometime this year, to get the ball rolling--- thank you for the reminder! And yes, always free to get in touch, you can find my contact info through my official website, the link is in the video description. Thank you for the good vibes, and have a wonderful week!
