His father was a judge in training on the island, but that the chief is his godfather, because they're not originally from Aruba, so that doesn't make sense, because godsons are baptized as a baby, he was a teenager when his parents moved to the island 😊

What makes sense? He’s been arrested many times. You’re acting as if they’re just letting him get away with this he would be in prison for her murder if they had enough evidence. He is also spending 20+ years in prison. A judge has A LOT of authority and could’ve easily gave him the tiniest sentence possible. Nobody is going light on him I don’t understand your comment at all.

@@Andreawbs I don't think Maggie was talking about the prison sentencing. I think they were talking about the other crimes he did. Possible human trafficking's which he was never charged for, he was a known date rapist, extortion. In 2005 I was 15 years old. I grew up about 30 minutes away from Natalee. A high school friend of mine had an older sister who went to school with Natalee. Natalee is the reason I have never left friends alone at a party or gone to places alone without letting people know where I was. Natalee's disappearance was terrifying when it happened and only became more terrifying as the years have gone off. I've always believed that she was sold into sex trafficking, but honestly at this point I hope she hasn't had to endure 12 years of misery. I don't know if her family, community and state will ever have closure. The way I thought about safety changed forever when Natalee disappeared, I will never forget her.

Autumn Bailey sadly it is a high possibility, that she is no longer alive. Also don't think that she was sold into sex slavery, because there has never been any reports of sightings of Natalie. Its so weird seeing a video of her. I'm from her town and went to the same highschool. I grew up hearing about her but it was always as a warning and they never really told us what happened just that she dissapeared and is still missing. They used her in stranger danger assemblys whenever a school trip came up they always warned us about what happened to her and made sure we were always accounted for. Its nice to hear the full story and thank you for bringing light to the case.

He said that when she was missing they shut down the island for 2 days (no one could come to the island and no one could leave) and every single person on the island searched for her. He also said that Joran is serving his sentence in Peru and after that has another sentence in Aruba and then when he finishes that he has another sentence to serve in Holland. Her friends were all thinking , oh no.. Natalee is going to be in trouble for being late... and her roommates knew she never came back, her stuff wasn’t packed... when she missed the 2nd bus they were like oh she’s really in trouble now... and not like danger, they were just thinking she was late... it was only once they were on the plane back that her friends told the chaperones what happened the night before, that she went off with some guy and never came home... great friends 🙄 and I worked at the school she went to... these statements are from those who were there

They have like 7 adults for 124 kids. I mean who’s idea was it to bring that many kids to Aruba with 7 adults. They can’t keep eyes on everybody I understand but it sounds like she got into the car when people were just starting to leave the bar and they thought she was still inside. I really hope one day we will find out the truth. I feel so bad

She committed murders in New Hampshire (close to where I live) I thought you would find it fascinated by the fact that she was originally from a town about 1 1/2 hrs for where Natalee Holloway is from and had notes on Natalee in a notebook that the courts used against her in her murder trials for the men she killed.

Yes it is. It's all over the news: “They are human, and they are of Caucasian, European descent,” Kolowski told Oxygen.com of the bone fragments, which match the profile of Natalee Holloway, who was Caucasian and of European descent. Kolowski told the website that at least one of the bone fragments discovered is “from a single individual." Kolowski said the DNA that was found is mitochondrial, which only comes from the mother, and takes longer to test than nuclear DNA. Testing will be fully complete in September

alisha x I think it’s the situation. They’re in a foreign country partying, going to bars and getting drunk. It was probably meant to be a night of fun and craziness. A wild night with spontaneous and crazy memories. Nothing at the time was meant to be serious. I think that the fact that they were in a different country, their guard was down and the whole “nothing will happen”, thoughts occurred. They probably lived very strict lives (She was in AP classes and planning on being a doctor) so they probably wanted a night to let everything loose. That, along with the alcohol. Not saying it was the right decision at all, in fact they should have been completely on guard *because* it was a foreign country. But as someone who loved partying, I can understand the naive mindset that can easily overtake young minds.

I'm not trying to excuse what happened, (at all, by any means), but I find it frustrating when people try to demonize Aruba/Aruban authorities when talking about this case instead of considering the fact that we don't deal with murder very often (like 1 murder a year is pushing it). Least of all kidnappings or disappearings. So our police don't know how to handle cases like Natalee's (especially not back in '05). We don't have the equipment necessary or the manpower or the training. Also, I was 5 or 6 when this happened and I vividly remember how many companies and businesses closed early one day after she'd just gone missing and Arubans went out to search for her. My mother, my father. It was the first time anything like this has ever happened in Aruba but we closed companies and schools early so we could go search for her (something we've never done for a local going missing). But we did (I think we all felt very guilty and shocked that something like this could happen on our island)(our population was barely pushing 100k in '05). And I'm very sorry we never found her, but we did all a small island at the time could think of doing (which wasn't enough, sadly).

KENDALL!!! I don't usually ask for requests, but PLEASE PLEAS PLEASE make a video on a fresh case that happened this past weekend in Chicago. KENNEKA JENKINS A 19 YR OLD WAS FOUND IN A HOTEL FREEZER. This hits close to home because I am a Chicago west sider and the entire city has been trying to figure it out. Just search her name on Facebook or twitter. The news media is barely talking about it because to be brutally honest, NOT MANY PEOPLE CARE ABOUT BLACK TEENS. Chicago is violent but for this to happen to a black girl & her be in a freezer is insane. Reminds me of the girl who was found in a water tank of a hotel, except Kenneka's friends were with her at the hotel smh. PLEASE KENDALL LOOK INTO IT.

Yes!!!!!!! I seriously am just blown away by everything that is coming out and even though they released the "video footage " I still don't believe no one else wasnt involved!!!! It's really sad and just insane.... what gets me though is when her mom wanted to see the footage at the hotel when they were looking for her and what not the hotel wouldn't let them!!!! And all of the sudden now that it's been a week they released the footage.

These are my FAVORITE videos. I'm sure it's because I grew up watching dateline and 20/20 with my mom so I love things about murder (though I wish that there was never any committed). You're so relaxing to listen to and I learn everything about a case in 30 minutes where else I'd have to watch documentaries and such so thank you for doing the research for us all. Wasn't expecting one this week cause I thought it would've been Tuesday but this upload just made my week!

You should do a video on the Irish case of missing person Trevor Deely. Big web sleuth here! Love your crime videos! Just got into Trevor Deely's case and its SUPER interesting. Lots of CCTV footage showing mysterious men following him without hus knowledge... Would love 2 get ur opinions. The CCTV is FASCINATING and SUPER sketchy!!!!
