It’s so interesting that tyrese spoke about colorism as an issue he’s experienced because I remember him claiming that darker skinned women were jealous of his non black significant other. He tried minimizing the impact of colorism on darker skinned women because he didn’t want to take accountability for the way he participated in perpetuating it. I also remember him talking about black women in a derogatory manner on the radio. I don’t feel sorry for him honestly. The things he’s gone thru is because he’s not a humble person. It’s because he lacks self awareness and introspection. Even when we tried to check him on how he disrespected black women, he doubled down. He also tried to blame black radio for his album not doing well. His ego is way too big. It’s disgusting but karma has constantly got him together swiftly

@@TheDonDann blk women have problems or 'ways' that are different from other women? Any woman that is made to fight for things will always have a more hardened demeanor. Women arent naturally made like that. Other races of women have better positions and demeanour than blk women because of THEIR MEN and communities. Ever wonder why a whyte woman with a blk man or in a hardened neighbourhood takes on the same demeanour as that same blk woman you are mentioning? Thats the reason. I find it comical that you said blk guys are misunderstood and blk women have 'ways about them' yet blk women arent the ones whose issues follow them regardless of where they go? But blk mens issues do regardless of the race of the woman he is with? Such as high rates of single motherhood and divorce? How interesting lol.

Ironic how Tyrese admits that colorism plagued his early acting career yet ,he became one of those colorist black men, who talked down and mocked their own, particularly black women... i guess when he finally became a big star, he forgot about that. Up until last year went out of his way to support Ellen when she was dead wrong. Is that meds too? Denial, self ignorance hurt, without reasoning,?without enlightenment and therapeutic closure will just repeat that same hurtful cycle. Actually all 3 of them, maybe Genuwine as the most reasonable one the least, are definitely victims and offenders of perpetuating that colorism in their public expressions sadly. PS: growing up in Central Africa and Europe, we were mostly exposed to Tyrese and Ginuwine’s music. Again I’m a kid who grew up in the 2000s never even knew about their group they had like americans did. God bless them but I never invested in supporting them like that in rhe recent years. Great doc on TGT. I must say though 3 Kings was an incredible R&B album. 💯 One of the best in the last 10 years. Every single song was fire 🔥🔥🔥 the production was A1. And you can tell TANK was involved throughout the entire project. His background vocals, arrangements, production and writing. IT'S INCREDIBLE THAT HE IS SUCH A TEAM PLAYER. Because if anyone should have been paid more it was him. He has produced hits for himself , Tyrese and Ginuwine prior to the group. And continues to make hits and remain relevant till this day. I think TANK and the singer Joe Thomas are two of the most underrated artists in the game.

Tyrese was a real life "it boy" he was in the music video for Monicas #1 single "Angel Of Mine" and was on Moesha, Martin, and Sister Sister because he was popular and good looking, but also talented. That kinda combo back then made you huge, I always had a small guess that his attitude (that we came to know later) is why he didnt blow up.

Not to be mean but I'm glad TGT didn't go far because both Tyrese and Tank are colorist, yet wanted the support of Black Women 🙄🙄😑😑 Tank is misogynistic, Tyrese thinks he's entitled and cries too much. I don't know much about Ginuwine except people get mad when he overdrinks and then performs. Tank seems manipulative and opportunistic, Tyrese is the perfectionist and Ginuwine still thinks he is in his Magic Mike days and just goes with the flow as long as he is getting paid 😂😂😂😂

all 3 of them are colorist . Tyrese and Tank are just the only ones taunting Black women online . Cryrese is mad because he is a deep *Cokopongo Black* with very hard features, this is the reason why he was beefing with Dwayne Johnson. He was like , how dis lite skindeded is getting a whole spin off and i ain't getting me own. He is jealous, selfish and entitled .

There's just something about Tyrese that I don't like... He has all these personal insights yet is always having interpersonal issues. He's woke about dark skin issues but calls dark skinned women jealous... He's adlibbing/ singing over TGT.. fighting with unproblematic people like The Rock and TANK...recording his crying and wanting to be paid more than his peers??? It's giving E-G-O.

It's safe to say Tyrese was the problem. If anyone should get paid more in the group it should have been ginuewine because the group was his idea and he had the most hits between the two. I hate Avant didn't want to be in the group because the energy would have been so much different. And the nerve of Tyrese to discuss colorism of not getting chose for a movie part over a light skinned Terrance Howard only to practice the same discrimination against his DS counterpart when it comes to his music videos. Miss me with all of that sir. You did a good job with this documentary. I enjoyed it.

For the ones at the front and at the back, there's nothing wrong with EQUALITY! Set aside outside business from GROUP business. 3 way split, no ego's & great music. They all bring their own strengths and that benefits the group. Yes Ty has a bigger public outreach but Ginuwine has the music success. Tank brings excellent songwriting, production and arrangements. THEY ALL CAN SANG DOWN! I understood Tyrese's stance business wise but in this group dynamic of such high caliber artists it should never have been a battle of the higher cheque!

Tyrese loves to talk about everyone’s ego but he’s the main person with an ego. Ginuwine wanted to split everything equally when he’s the one with the biggest hits. He wanted to be fair but here Tyrese is talking his movies. No one is going to see those movies because of him. Talking about the Rock’s ego but again Tyrese is the main one displaying his. Acting like he was about to go broke because of the Rock. You are already signed for several movies but the schedule was displayed but denied. Again ego because the Rock is the bigger star. Tyrese has mush for brains and doesn’t know when to hush. He definitely had some mental issues but his ego is really what gets in his way.
