Counterpoint - what some "doctor" tells you is normal may actually not be and you should always be sure you are completely ready to have your personality and mental ability changed before taking mind altering medication to bring you in line with what said "doctor" told you is normal. I'm miserable most of the time. Constant anxiety. Consistent depression. Still not willing to give up my mental acuity to be dependent on some magic pill that will supposedly make me feel good.

Warren Buffet said something along the lines of: Imagine you get a car for free! But there is a catch... it's the only car you'll get in your life. So you are going to take the best care of it, because you're only going to get this one. Everybody gets a car like this, and this car is your body and your mind.

You are the best car presenter and entertainer on KZitem hands down. Combined that with your phenomenal editing skills, I feel big things coming your way. Even though we have a different taste in cars I enjoy watching all of your videos and find myself rewatching them numerous times. If there's one thing I'd suggest, maybe get a more mainstream car project to attract wider audience. Cheers from Germany!

Our Work-Pit was a death-trap, because it was in the center of the floor. We built a "plank floor" to make the surfaces level. Using 4x6 planking to support farm equipment and big-rigs. It will work for you too. Bolt some angle iron around the pit and just lay the planks down. That bus looks like the tires wouldn't even set on the planking. I could be wrong (as usual) I am sorry for your short comings. There is nothing more painful, than depression. I spent 30 years in counselling. Doc called me "job security". Hard work or at-least important work and the correct meds. are essential. Very happy to hear about your work.

Medication - a permanent solution for a temporary problem.
@MichaelD8393

Nice to hear, but I got something to say as well. I learned medication makes me worse when I broke my ankle a couple years ago. While the Advil I took for the pain didn't adversely affect me, the antidepressants I was taking at the time recked havoc on me when combined with the Advil. I had a nervous breakdown and ended up on suicide watch. Learning that saved my life and I've been doing fine without meds ever since. So my tip to anyone reading this is if you're depressed or anxious, are taking medication and feel like it's either not doing anything or people tell you you're acting different on it, get off it ASAP, because it will likely harm you more than it will help you.

Also to add to this, I worked for a mental health charity for a couple of years as a support worker. It was hugely eye-opening and revelatory and did me the World of good helping others. Most of my work simply consisted of listening to people and letting them express themselves - and that is something we could all do, regardless of training.

Thank you for being so open about what you're going through. I've suffered from crippling anxiety, myself, as have a couple friends. It's definitely true that we all went through a period, of some number of years for me at least, where things were -- in retrospect -- already bad enough to need treatment, but we didn't know it! Even when we did know something was wrong, none of us could self-identify it right away, in large part because so few people talk about these things! We all thought we had other things wrong with us (heart trouble, lung trouble, dietary issues, anything but a mental issue!), and one of my friends had an incompetent doctor who couldn't identify her problem even with a whole host of severe anxiety disorder symptoms and nearly put her through some pretty painful -- and unnecessary! -- surgical tests, before she saw another doctor and got the help she needed. The brain is just one organ in our amazing bodies, and it needs care to stay healthy, too! We all need to be open and free of shame about mental health, so nobody feels like they are the Only Person in the World Suffering from This. Once I opened up with people about what I was going through, I found others admitting that they had dealt with that or something else that I never knew about, because they hid it behind a mask of normalcy, not wanting to talk about it. People need to know that mental health issues are all much more common than it probably seems and that there's no shame in seeking help! You wouldn't try to "get over it" or "walk it off" if your leg got cut halfway off in an industrial accident, and nobody should be pressured -- or even FEEL pressured -- to do so for mental issues either.

Thanks also for sharing your health update. I've followed another talented You-Tube contributor: Ever Ride ADV. He's shared his challenges, the stigma attached to the both the issue and to seeking help, and some of the progress made. Very brave. This issue affects many and few are willing to talk about it or recognize and tackle the issue. It seems that creative types, those leaning towards OCD or perfection in their craft and those with a pension for "fixing it themselves" may be more reluctant to seek or accept help for what we see as our "version of normal." A sincere thanks for your post.
