Thank you for all that information. Bobby Balderrama is my uncle and I didn't know all of that. Bobby is doing good and is cancer free.

One of the best bands of the 60s garage scene, both of their albums from the 60s are both fun garage rock. The first Latino band to top the charts!

I saw "Question Mark and The Mysterians" LIVE February 4, 1967 at The University of Cincinnati Student Union Building. Sharing the bill were "Syndicate of Sound" and a last minute add, "The Beau Brummels." A pretty good concert but "The Beau Brummels" was the best band by far!

in 1966 i played with a band (the teardrops) in bay city (texas). how fitting. haha. on friday nites we along with other local bands would play at the old church hall and compete in a battle of the bands. we got first place because we covered 96 tears. anytime i hear the song it takes me back to that place and time, wish i could go back. domingo

Robert Balderrama to date is cancer free and is active on the smooth jazz scene. He has a #1 single on the smooth jazz charts called “Any Moment” by Ensonic. (On KZitem) The Mysterians still occasionally play shows and still sound as good as ever.

The thing about so called "one hit wonders" is that I'm always interested to hear what the rest of their stuff sounds like. Some of these bands have pretty good other material, and then others---well, you know why they only had one hit!

Good Grief! I was 15 to 16 when "96 Tears" came out and yes...CKLW OF Detroit/Windsor (Canada) was one of those several AM radio stations I listened to where Question Mark played a lot on those radio stations. Man! How many of us teenagers who formed rock bands in Garage Band style played "96" which, many thought was about s-e-x. Well...as the popular term goes: " I'm just sayin' ". And...I remember seeing "The Mysterians" in the summer of 1957. I was about 7 then and thought the effects of that movie was neat.
