Ir's disappointing that Remini chose to damage to the Jane Does and their lawsuits for her own dubious ends. It's appalling. Narcissism at its best. It appears that Rinder and Leah are using the same tactics that Scientology does. The Jane Does deserve and need unconditional support and protection from these types of people. However, in light of her treatment of Mike Brown and A-aron, it was unfortunately foreseeable.

I’ve followed this since Leah’s book, show & to this very day. This case winning would be SO major for this movement. As much as I’m so bummed about recent realizations about Leah, I hope she gets new counsel & wins. Regardless of how people may feel about Leah at this point in time, she is still allowed to seek some justice in her lawsuits against Scientology. She was harassed, she was subjected to Scientology Fair Gaming, her career was impacted and she, along with all the other petitioners, deserves to have her day in court. We don’t know the whole story about what happened with Leah Remini and the others on the Aftermath Foundation. I would actually love to hear her side of the entire situation in an in depth interview with That’s Adorable Aaron. So many of us, at least never ins like me, who are following all these SPTV KZitem channels are doing so because we were able to learn about the Church of Scientology and it’s abuses, by reading Leah’s book and watching the Scientology and the Aftermath documentary series. She started exposing the heinous ways Scientology treats its current members and how they treat those who have publicly left Scientology. That started the ball rolling for others to be brave enough to finally speak out publicly against Scientology and to get the Jane Does’s justice against the sexual assaults and outright rapes of multiple women. DP Masterson is in prison today and hopefully will stay there for the rest of his miserable life, in large part because of the support of former Scientologists. Scientology had largely been successful in the courts tossing out lawsuits, by using the Internal Religious Arbitration agreement that these members and former members signed . Scientology would then drag out these arbitrations, retraumatizing them for months, even years, until the former Scientologist, defeated, exhausted and feeling hopeless, simply gave up because the torture would never stop if they continued.

I discovered A-Aron and the movement a few years ago. I never understood why Leah was "hands off" and was revered. I felt that beyond the tv show and the podcast, if she couldn't make money, she didn't want to be bothered. No statements, no videos, nothing. It's disappointing to learn that she was fair gaming behind the scenes and playing people as if they were puppets. Other than massive ego fluff and a sense of power, what was there to gain? It's sad that she showed up for court, and the cameras, pretending to support the Jane Does only to find she was using their trauma for her own publicity. A-Aron's "elephant" video should have been enough for her legal team to question her and dump her. She had the opportunity to cause great damage to COS and become immortal, but she blew it when she decided follow Mikey's path of destruction. Now, COS can sit back, let Leah continue destroying herself and her reputation and walk away unchanged. Leah won't even be able to beg COS for a settlement half the size of anything they've given out in the past. She will blame Mikey, Mikey will shrug his shoulders and who will ever hire her again? Her career and achievements will be reduced to a question in a Trivial Pursuit game.😕

The lawyers representing both of their cases became aware of a conflict of interest (not stating what it was) that prevented them from further representing them. So there was a filing from them stating this. Jane Doe already had a second lawyer firm representing her, so she is ok to go ahead with the case. However Leah remini did not have a second attorney, so she is without one until and unless she can get one. Also, the crazy reindeer lady is for some reason blaming this all on Aaron. Some speculate that rinder and reindeer are in cahoots.

This cult yeeted her career and made her professional and personal life a nightmare. However now, trying to hide a monumental error done on CHILD USA's watch, former cult members are now being lied about and libeled. If LR and MR cannot see this horrible irony, then they both need to stand back from public life, resign from all foundations and try to salvage LR's case against this cult.

It is so sad Leah is sitting on the wrong side of history. Her case would had been setting the precedent. I hope she finds legal representation.

I am a total outsider to this but the whole thing, in its totality, seems very beneficial to an organisation desperate to avoid lawsuits against them getting to discovery and trial stages. There also seems to be quite a bit of "celebrities gonna be celebrities and do celebrity things" aka the size of the ego of famous people is directly proportional to their lack of humility. Leah Remini acts like she is the face of the anti-scientology movement. She seems to want everyone in that movement to get behind her. She seems to want to be the voice of the movement. Leah Remini seems to want to be the leader of her own "cult". I dunno. I think she needs to wind her head in. I think former members who are celebrities or were senior members need to check their egos, act in a way that doesn't harm "regular" former members, and not put their wants and demands above that of "regular" former members. Lets face it, Leah Remini is gonna be just fine in the long run

I always found her rude and abrasive. I liked the Aftermath show because I was interested in the people’s stories, most were heartbreaking but Leah and Mike I wasn’t keen too much look at me aren’t I wonderful. Mike was and probably still is very boring

Ethics has a different definition outside sciento. It's kind of a reverse engineering process for me. Word clearing "ethics". Protecting vulnerable humans, or exploiting them. ❤ Don't cheerlead misogyny. It's gross.

I'm sooo curious if the attorneys bailed, literally, bcz of rinders involvement. And rules of mandatory reporting of all the crimes he knew about. And maybe now they know it wasn't just the victimization of Leah, or Mike. It was kids.

Zac, you're a hoot. I love the way you put things. I like how you said it might be "a bet the farm type case where if I win, I buy an island and you never see my pale face again." Hahaha. And "me opining on legal cases on KZitem no more makes me a journalist than standing in the garage makes me a car." Hahahaha. If I ever needed a lawyer, I would ADORE having one with such a flair for words getting up in front of jury on my behalf. Be like, "yeah, you tell 'em Zac! You hear what he said? Yeah!"

I truly don't understand this whole Leah thing. All I got is she has been brainwashed by Mike Rinder and is believing all the crap he tells her. But given how many people I thought she knew & respected have had their eyes opened to MR, I would have hoped she would have at least tried to stay neutral & not burn bridges. What is so sad is seeing how many people she seems to just be writing off and turning her back on. Was she always this way, and we never noticed, or has something changed??? Either way, very sad....and not helpful to the anti-CoS cause IMHO I try to keep my expectations for people I don't know fairly low, as I've worked with many big name folks & I know there is nearly always a huge gap between image and the real person (sometimes it's for the better, obviously sometimes not). Yet Leah's choices have truly disappointed me, as my lowest take was way higher than she has been behaving.

Hey Aaron stephanie hutchison lives in a highly stressed inner state permanently and gets relief from that intolerable pressure by inducing that same state in others. Turning her the calm face always starves this knee jerk reaction of hers. That doesnt mean not calling out her BS in detail even using legal responses but if you want to give it the highest chance of getting through to her it has to be done supercalmly. This calm approach also protects your own nervous system from the harm she wants to inflict through her own illness. The people who are manipulating her to speak for them purposely fan the flames of her dis ease and are not her friends

I have no idea what's going on with any of this anymore. Can't keep up because the vids are always like 45 mins and I don't have time. Anyone know any channels that post overviews of this stuff for people that don't want to dedicate their lives to it?
