Its very important that Prop 1 passes. It'll eliminate the easy elections politicians love but citizens hate. The voices of citizens will be louder and politicians will be forced to clean up their act. Politicians only oppose ranked choice voting because they know they'll have to actually be a good politician to win, and unfortunately far too many elected officials are failing that qualification.

Valid point. Seems like the Republican's here are just coasting because they don't have to try hard. The results from this will be a great litmus test to see how much bluer Idaho is turning. They forget there are centrists in this state and if they feel a Republican isn't working for them, then we'll find someone who is, no matter the side they are on.

so yall are okay with spending 64.7 million for bsu stadium seats and have no problem with it, but soon as the state actually has to use money for something more important it’s a problem? got it.

Idaho’s elections are currently simple and straight forward. Prop 1 would add $40 million to elections and require changing 42 Sections of the Idaho Code according to Idaho Secretary of State. Don’t fall for these messages that say thousands are being kept out of elections because they don’t want to be part of a political party. If you want to vote in a primary for a candidate in a given party all you have to do is opt in to that party for the primary election. You can opt out later if you don’t want to be known as a member of a party. Would you allow an opposing team on the court to pick your players? Members of a political party should feel confident that the candidate for their party is not the 2nd or 3rd choice. Vote NO on Prop 1. Let’s keep it simple.

My sister is a die hard Dem, she says she registers as Republican and votes for the least Republican candidate, a RINO. She supports Prop 1, so I know not to. She voted for Obama because "it's time for a black President". She voted Killary, "because it's time for a woman President". Same for this selected lady. People want to move here and change it to the way it was where they left. Well they left there for a reason..

So, if they say it “could cost less” it’s definitely gonna cost more. How about we stop thinking we know more than our Forefathers and leave the electoral college alone.
