I would love to taste it The first bourbon barrel-aged beers were produced in the United States by Goose Island in the early 1990s. It was the BCBS (Bourbon County Brand Stout) They still make 'm every year and its JUST WONDERFULL :-)

this guy's passion made me cry. i am a huge fan of barrel aged stouts and porters and am starting the hoebrewing process myself. after i have perfected my imperial stout i am going to start barrel aging them myself too and this made me even more excited to get started.
