I'm an ex Muslim. And Jesus gave me visions and dreams and proved Himself. It saddens me to see other Muslims so dogmatic though. Before God gave me any proofs I was honest enough to admit that Islam sounds dodgy and after one debate I couldn't believe it's true anymore but I was still asking God to convince me if it's true.

Galaxy salam..do not be sad over others .... think about yourself..are you ready to meet with the Creator in day of judgment?..Book of Enoch Section XIX chapter 94 verse 1-2 - "And now I say to you, my children, love justice and walk in it, for the paths of justice are worthy that they be accepted; and the paths of injustice are destroyed suddenly and cease. And to certain men of a future generation the paths of violence and of death will be revealed, and they will retreat from them, and will not follow them"

Hello Galaxy. Visions and dreams are very subjective. They are produced within oneself, so they cannot be used as evidence for anything. The best way to go through life is to base our conclusions on evidence. We need to take all of the evidence available and draw plausible conclusions from it. The evidence that historians have produced actually shows a case against Jesus being divine, if he existed at all. Historians study the Bible using a method called the "Historical-Critical Method". Please read books by Bart Ehrman. He is a prominent Historian, with expertise in Early Christianity. For many years he was a fundamentalist Christian, but studying the Bible, and Christianity, from the Historical-Critical method caused him to abandon his belief in Christianity. Peace, and good luck with your research!

Charles www.atruechurch.info/dreams.html In Scripture, dreams are not only called "dreams", but also "visions of the night" (Job 33:15), "thoughts on my bed", "visions of my head" (Daniel 4:5; 7:15), "visions of his head while on his bed" (Daniel 7:1), and "night visions" (Daniel 7:7, 13). Now granted, the above references out of Daniel are in reference to dreams given miraculously by God, but even when the Word speaks of a "normal" type of a dream, it is still called a "night vision" (e.g. Isaiah 29:7-8). In fact, Job 33:15 clearly describes a dream as a "vision of the night" ("In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls upon men,"). So, Scripture defines dreams as "night visions". Where do these night visions come from?

I would add that if they never hear or have the opportunity to repent and accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior, then they are under judgment - which does not mean they are always found guilty. Those who knew and had the chance to but did not witness may bear the guilt or responsibility for them. Or if too young or by circumstance they may well be found innocent. Jesus is a righteous and just judge. This is also how the scripture is true and fulfilled that "I am the way the truth and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me"-John14:6 - either by being in Christ and not under judgment or by being judged by Him and found innocent.

I still have trouble thinking about like how many native Americans lived and died without hearing the gospel...ive heard some quote out of romans ch1 and acts 17 and say that through creation they can see God and turn and live for him and be saved still by the blood of jesus without even knowing his name..but i keep thinking about how jesus said you must be born again to enter heaven, and if the Indians that died not knowing the gospel never knew jesus name and was never born again, how was that fair...and i know some will say that they deserve hell anyway cause all have sinned..but its like alot never even had a chance to hear and believe...makes me wonder and question sometimes....

That is the verse I have used to answer this question. I also say, God is the righteous judge and it is His decision. Also, I have told my kids that they know the truth and so they are accountable with that truth. It is for God to worry about getting His word to those we can't. IMHO

I remember going to the ancient pyramids in Mexico ( Mayan Ruins near Merida,Mexico) . As we were with the Tour guide, he was adamant about giving the history and truth of the ancient civilization that lived there for many years. He proceeded to tell us that the people believed in a God that sent his son to be sacrificed for them. As I was listening, it totally sounded like John 3:16. In my opinion I believe through out times past. Servants of the Lord ( christians) have gone into the most outer parts of the world to proclaim the message of the Gospel. It just wasn't time for the Lords return yet, and as the bible has shown. The word gets perverted and twisted and Satan does a work at covering, destroying and twisting the work of the Lord. The book of Acts shows that many " disciples" were in Jerusalem. As we know, Jeruselum has only been around for about 70 something years now ( i don't feel like calculating right now ) in OUR time. Satan will always cover the tracks of the Lords work and make it seem as if believers weren't there. Our world is different from even 100 years ago. Try 1,000 years ago. Generation after generation , The Lord is working but we have an Adversary who keeps destroying , hopefully Christ comes in our generation!

To know good and do it not, that to you is sin. We all have this thing called a conscience (unless you are a sociopath), that warns of us of approaching doing things we inwardly know are wrong. Example. You wouldn't torture an animal for pleasure and be unable to empathize with the creature (lest you were sociopath). Why? Because conscience kicks in. God generally hardwired all people to know the things he hates on an instinctual level. Even sociopaths know right from wrong, they just don't care because they gravitate towards doing what makes them "feel".

I wouldnt say its a deflection in all cases... all due respect. When we speak about salvation *AND MAKING JESUS LORD* that is a huge decision. They may wonder about who and how He is on more fubdamental levels. Its a huge commitment to be taken seriously. We've all heard it "Id never want to serve a God who ___." It may not be a deflection but a question pertaining to a possible hang up / qualm they may have OR a question out of genuine concern for others as well... but in cases it could also be a deflection of course.

to be more clear... these are the kinds of questions I asked sincerely before being saved... and I still ask questions but now I ask The Lord Himself... and He knows my heart is to grow and in cases get past potential hang ups as well as help others with the same. When I first gave my life to the Lord it was with minimal comprehension of scripture (to phrase it mildly) but I was raised around "advanced" anti-believer (in differing forms) types... There is never a question God doesn't have a perfect answer for... I knew then I wanted to get an idea of how He is beyond extremely basic stuff I was told prior. I can say for me... coming to God was EXTREMELY SCARY... again... I did NOT KNOW scripture well... there are so many mischaracterizations and lies out there. I was poisoned with so many lies against God... but those lies produced questions... and God's answers to those questions drew me all the more close to Him.

and I feel like a confident sound answer we can give on this question is in scripture OVER AND OVER.... it ultimately comes down to who is or isn't written in the lambs book of life. When I did a brief (and I will admit lacking) search (that I need to go deeper on) pertaining to this subject... I kept seeing "they will be judged according to their works." This reminds me of an experience I had leading up to my salvation which lead to a similar experience through the works of God for many others as The Lord used me. As I was growing more and more inquisitively drawn to God, I one day felt compelled to ask Him my sins (expecting no response)... lo and behold... to my utter shock... (this is pre-saved, going into salvation) there I layed in bed with a continuous reel of sin after sin after sin in eye opening ways... things that I wouldn't have even known were sin before... I had to cut it short because I had school the next day. But after I was saved and began ministeting in my school I was shocked to hear some people sincerely (in their minds) tell me "I have never sinned." I smiled and told them: "tonight when you go to sleep, pray God reveal your sins to you and ask forgiveness." WITHOUT FAIL... they would all come to me excited the next day saying: "YOU WERE RIGHT!!! I THOUGHT I HAD NO SIN BUT I PRAYED AS YOU SAID AND SIN AFTER SIN AFTER SIN KEPT being revealed to me." And they also all said the same thing to me: "I had to cut it short because it was so much." Jesus is the very clear answer to THE MOST severe problem in humanity that many are rather oblivious to. So "judged according to their works." Why refuse a peace offering (in a manner of speaking) given on a person's behalf, and that in many cases with disdain? Those who ask have clearly heard. But I honestly think the "what about those who haven't heard?" question is legit... and my answer is: "He will judge them according to their works" as scripture states... and then I would likely tell those with the question (if they have a cocky arrogant tone or if I feel lead) to: "pray God show you your sins tonight... then afterwards, think about standing before Him without anyone standing in the gap for you about any of it... *then* think about how Jesus has OFFERED YOU that link *through an excruciating death out of love* AND THEN think about how that same manner of judgement will go FOR YOU who WHO HAVE HEARD and on top of all the other guilt... possibly worst of all rejected Him defiantely despite how much He gave for you to help you and attone for you. You ask about those who haven't heard... good question... now look in the mirror and ask about you who have heard."

Balaam was a non-Israelite priest that in the Torah is described as knowing the True God YHWH (and much probably with another name). It has always been so. Yeshua is drawing people to Himself also without them necessarily knowing His message or His name as "Jesus" or "Yeshua" or "YHWH". They worship the only true God and that is what matters.

Though it is clear that even Gentiles who do not know God do abstain from some forms of unrighteousness [1 Co 5:1], that isn't Paul's point in Ro 2: the Gentiles upon whose hearts God's Law is written are believing Gentiles not unbelieving Gentiles. They are men who "keep the Law" [Ro 2:26, 27]; who are "circumcised in the heart by the Spirit" (yes, the fact that you can call a Gentile "circumcised" does lend itself to interpreting "inward Jew" as inclusive of Gentile believers--but that is a different subject) [Ro 2:29; Col 2:11]. Yes, that "they are without excuse" [Ro 1] means lost Gentiles possess knowledge of right and wrong (it seems Scripture teaches coming to know good and evil is a normal part of the human growth process [Is 7:15]), but this "knowledge" is a different "knowing" than having the Law "written on the heart"--the former is a mere knowledge (as with the Jew and his Written Code) while the latter is an empowerment and an actual righteousness (not one's own [Pp 3:9]) [Ro 3:31, 8:4, 13:8-10]. In other words, even if lost Gentiles do know right and wrong, we should not be using Ro 2 as a basis for proving that that is the case--the "nature" there [Ro 2:14] refers to the new one, and not to the one which ensures lost Gentiles' actions render them guilty and worthy of punishment [Ro 1:18, 3:9-18; Ep 2:1-3].

Romans 2: 6 who will render to each person according to his deeds: 7 to those who by perseverance in doing good seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life; 8 but to those who are selfishly ambitious and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, wrath and indignation. 9 There will be tribulation and distress for every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek, 10 but glory and honor and peace to everyone who does good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 11 For there is no partiality with God. 12 For all who have sinned without the Law will also perish without the Law, and all who have sinned under the Law will be judged by the Law; 13 for it is not the hearers of the Law who are just before God, but the doers of the Law will be justified. 14 For when Gentiles who do not have the Law do instinctively the things of the Law, these, not having the Law, are a law to themselves, 15 in that they show the work of the Law written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness and their thoughts alternately accusing or else defending them, 16 on the day when, according to my gospel, God will judge the secrets of men through Christ Jesus. Matthew 5: 7 “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy. Luke 12: 41- 48
